For those flying back from Vegas on Virgin between the 3rd July and the 7th July, there are upgrades to Upper available on all those dates.  I have just paid 58,000 miles and the extra tax to upgrade from economy delight.   The extra tax wasn't very much, but I think they may have cocked up, as I was expecting more.

There are also upper upgrades on the way out on 23rd to 2nd July (excluding the 26th June and 27th June).  I didn't have the miles to do both, so picked the overnight.

I have only checked flights around my dates, but it is probably worth checking if you are out there this summer.

I assume this is related to a much bigger upper cabin than there used to be.

A lot easier to check availability on here rather than the virgin site

Might be due to the fact US>UK doesn't attract the huge APD tax for flying business/first that UK>US does.

Too much aggro, unless I make day 3 of the 1 drop Smiley

Like starbucks but hate queues?

Ground floor of Caesar's Forum is a starbucks (to the left of Joe's). Was empty this morning at 9am, while 12 queued at Mirage.

Vegas is Life Hack Central. Who doesn't want more spare time in Vegas?

One of the super things about Palazzo is/was the Coffee Bean at the bottom of the elevator banks.

They've got robots that deliver Starbucks at the Vdara, supposedly.

Anyone rented a cabana at the MGM before? Am I right in saying you don't need to be staying there to rent one?

Reading conflicting information online.

I haven't, but can't imagine all the kids who are smashing their plastic are staying at the hotels when they go to the beach parties.

Think you book them online, and you pay a fee to reserve it.  The $ amount is used for F&B + 20% gratuity, obv.

https://cabanas.mgmresorts.com/en/booking/cabana-booking.html#/resorts?numGuests=1&selectedRegion=Las%20Vegas

Just mess about with that, and gives you prices etc.
