Get in the Orleans, and you can grind the 08 when you're not playing donkaments
I'm staying at The Orleans when I go. I've only played O8 once in my life though so might give that one a miss lol.
Iโm similar mate but it doesnโt stop me trying ๐๐๐
In January I registered for the 1400 tournament in the south point to sit down n discover it was 08 lol
Once a few years ago I bought into the HORSE $160 buy in at the nugget
I was totally out of my depth
Didnโt have a scooby
Had a savage hangover ๐ค
Only had a vest on n it was freezing ๐ฅถ in the nugget ballroom
I was out by 1700 with a bemused look ๐ on my face
Very weirdly Jerry buss shook my hand as I left and said good game .lol if only he knew

In my experience, pokeratlas.com is the best guide for MTT's & Cash Games in and around Vegas.

Not that I'm aware of, no, though you could try & check on The Hendon Mob perhaps.

Just back from a first ever March trip. It's peak season alright, the place was rammed.
Everything has just about reopened now. Had to do a covid test at Heathrow going out but they lifted the requirement to re-enter the UK while I was away, so coming back was easier.
The poker rooms at Planet Hollywood, Excalibur, Luxor and Mirage are all RIP. The only $1-$2 left on the strip is at the MGM. Everywhere else is 1-3.
Aria daily is now a 20-minute clock, which is a shame. They scrapped the evening comp too but that might have been down to the high rollers series. MGM evening tourney is comedy. Advertised as a $100, $5k guaranteed, 20-min clock 25k chips. What they don't tell you is there's a 100k add-on for $100 at the second break.
Great to be back out there.

Going to be like that for the rest of the year, going on everything I've seen.

The room at Mirage, right next to the sportsbook, on the main thoroughfare through the casino near the entrance from the strip, was prime real estate and always had a good chance of being used for something else. Shame, nevertheless.

F1 on the way to the strip!
Was thinking would be a great combo of poker and F1, but would have to be some early finish times in MTTs. And all those strip view rooms are sound proof and many with no balconies? Strip view with balcony is nut choice?

Yes, it's a real shame about The Mirage. Stayed there a few times, and it's gone from being very busy and vibrant with a great atmosphere, to closure - very much self-inflicted as far as I could determine.
What's there now, I wonder? Another restaurant?

Will be the only time that Cosmo strip view terrace rooms will cost more than the fountain view
