Also, we're 5/5 on pre flop min5bt's being AA or KK.

Therefore, next time someone min5bts me pre... I AM folding <AA.  I know I said this 'before' but today it happened accidentally when I cold 4'd AK and then had my mouse over the 'call' button, but he min clicked it.  So it was the 'raise' button instead and so I min6bt pre - #likeahero

Cheesy

Anyone please try and make me fold KK pre live... and gl to you.

Had a little one earlier, then spent some time for dinner with C and watched 'twelve monkeys' the Bruce Willis film.  It's ok but a little weird, don't like the ending.

Nice graph from a little session.

Played really solid at the start of my second session, and had a couple of nice hands to help get +$20 quickly..

Then had a slow and long and steady losing streak of small pot after small pot.  Think I made a few optimistic river calls, I had a medium strength hand and they always had one better.

Then had a bunch of meh pots - lost QQ vs KK btn vs SB where I 3bt someone else and he shoved 100bb's.. It's not normally a premium but some people do do it.

Then think i tilted a little even though i didn't think or feel it at the time, made a bad bet/call with KJ on 810JK vs what do you think.... (obv peeled Q9o like a hero)

Then had an annoying AQ vs AK aipf and bvb I cc down with AK on      vs BB who obviously has  .

Stopping for 30 minutes then definitely getting back on it!

Still winning total even though I lost for this session, feels annoying to do so.  But meh, crush the rest of the evening!

wow, nice hero sir.

http://wt.ag/PfHPUG
on retrospect I think this is probably a cf river.. purely cos of the 3 handed-ness

http://wt.ag/PfHSQq
pretty unfortunate... need to let him barrel off when he does have

http://wt.ag/PfHTDS
hmmm.... think we're both FOS a lot here... gave up in the end.

http://wt.ag/PfHUb3
just Foff.... playing like 4 zoom tables and 5 others.. don't like his play with any hand tbh.

http://wt.ag/PfHXnh
don't like this tbh... feels 'value' heavy.. might even be KK a chunk.

http://wt.ag/PfHVf7
wtf can you have here?

I ended up a small loser in this session despite being +$40 which super sucks.

Alright then, let me have a crack at the George Charles.

Not sure about this one. We bet this board to win now and then the worst conceivable card in the deck peels off. Even though it's improved our hand, it's probably a c/f. I c/f flop tbh at this level; we win the most money by having the best hand at showdown and that's pretty hard to do with this hand on this flop.

I know exactly what you mean. I don't fold either. Unlucky.

Pretty easy hero imo. Have a look at what you're repping.

Blergh. If JT doesn't get there on the river I think you can call this a cooler.

Gross. Unlucky. Played fine.

Yeah it's a weird one from a neutral perspective. Neither of you should have it, but he's more likely to actually show up with it than you are.

Why did we check flop?

Yeah fold river as boring as it is.

This is a little unfortunate... pretty sigh, 50p.

SPEW - inexcusable spew, i tried to make him fold AK...

This is VS a reg, I don't know if that makes it better or worse.. I probably should just triple, like he says. Tongue

http://wt.ag/SEkBHb
such a meh river... - enjoy the $$ mate.

http://wt.ag/SEkCe5
Probably a fold.. in fact don't really like pre.  Need to stop overplaying A9 specifically (i don't do this with A6-8)

http://wt.ag/SEkD1F
Little heroic... interesting...

given all the draws he can have you should probably use your bluffcatcher to bluffcatch and given all the semibluffs you can have he never folds a king

A9o just doesn't need to be part of your 3bet bluff range here, there are just so many better hands to use

might give up on the turn, if i do bet the turn i probably go for it on the river aswell

Might have to rail one of these sessions some time.

Btw, I remembered the other day you still owe me £5 that I lent you in Stoke and said you'd pay back on stars...

Pre, flop and turn pretty standard. I prefer cbetting to checking since you can fold out all of his the overcard hands that have reasonable equity against you. Its probably somewhat close but I think you'll get enough folds for a half pot cbet to be profitable. Definitely don't agree with Sean that the turn is a c/f. You get value from a few worse Ax hands that peeled the flop, he may flick in one more street with TT/JJ, he still has some 78 type pair+gutter hands that just turned a flush draw too. I think its reasonable to expect unknowns to raise sets and 2pair hands on such a wet board a decent amount of the time so you're only really worried about flushes and aces up but I think he calls with a decent number of worse hands.

River is a c/f though. The stuff that you were getting value from on the turn isn't calling again on this river and he'll just check behind his worse showdown value. He doesn't really have any pure air in his range on this river besides flop floats that missed backdoor hearts which I think would be pretty optimistic to have in his range. I doubt that he'll turn 7x and pocket pairs into bluffs either.

I just want to make an apology to everyone for how I've referred to anyone of my opponents in poker that was inappropriate or downright offensive, I think it is from a silly idea of a venting frustration.  It is absolutely never meant in a serious manner, however sometimes this 'game' is frustrating, and for whatever reason, the young men (often) of my generation seem to 'lash out' with language that we seem to have 'rationalized' as acceptable even though it clearly is not.

I will be making my attitude towards people a top priority as I move forward.

Just a reflection after all the discussion on here recently about the 'other side' of being a professional poker player.

I am a big fan of finding the 'funny' side in all sorts of unlikely things - esp taboo subjects that many might think inappropriate for 'jokes'.

I realize that sensitivity is often required, but I also think that trying to use laughter is a healthy way of treating any subject.

Just firing up a session..

gl us.

Had a bad session, but not because I lost a lot. I lost $2 I think after hero-ing with KQ on Qxxxx UTG vs a BB 3bt pre.  He had a 10% 3bt AND  id just stacked him on another table with Ah10h vs 66 on KQ6hh.

He had AA ofc. Lol.

Anyways, the reason it was bad was because I wasn't 100% focused, I got a headache, C and my brother were distracting me from the sofa.
Good thing is I realised this and quit early, bad thing is I felt ill for a few hours cos of a stomach thing.  She put some voltarol on me and it started to feel better, think it was constipation tbh. Its never hurt before tho. Sad

Anyways, bit random.  I'm on the way up, hopefully keep that going and get some $$ in the bank.
