I haven't been watching the match but presumably this bodes well for our bet for Uruguay to top group A?
Exceedingly well. It's not going to help sell tickets for all the empty seats thats for sure.

They should fill the stadiums up with Chelsea pensioners- they seem to like days out like that.

No idea about the bet but team GB are fairly clueless.
Pearce not exactly well endowed with creative genius either Quite hard to be creative without the ball. Unless you count Micah Richards's creative interpretation of the basics of defending. Bet looks good to me! Lol

Someone at the EFA is either very scared or in love with him. Or both

Someone at the EFA is either very scared or in love with him. Or both I'd say he's more of a suck up. The FA's little pet.

The moment you put a goalkeeper up front instead of a striker you are GATG imo

Daily Report, as @ 08:00, Saturday July 21st
In The Open, Tom Lehman fell by the wayside and our two remaining runners, Fowler and Furyk, only just made the cut. Things aren't looking pretty. However, a henrik777 tip for Jimenez to win this 3-ball provided a much needed winner.
In the Test Series South Africa made a comeback and are 86/1 in reply to 385 with Amla 47 not out overnight.
Brazil outplayed Great Britain in an Olympic football warm-up match. This provided a nice winner courteousy of hector62 who spotted that BetFred were offering generous odds on Brazil leading at half-time. Team GB's performance also gives us hope that our bet on Uruguay to win Group A in the Olympics has some mileage in it.
Fred also placed a couple of bets on some horses.

What's coming up?
It's Saturday so it's a busy day on the sporting front.
The knock-out stages of the Super 15 rugby commence with a heavyweight clash between The Crusaders and The Bulls at 8:30am.
The Tour De France is nearly over.
The first test between England and South Africa reaches day 3 and the first ODI between Sri Lanka and India also takes place.
It's "moving day" in The Open.
The World Matchplay Darts starts today.
It's qualifying day for the German Grand Prix.
Fred has some interest in a couple of horse races; the 3:45 at Newmarket and the 4:35 at Ascot.
It's also day 5 of the Royal International Horse Show. I'm pretty sure that Fred's never placed a bet on show jumping.
Remember that betting isn't just restricted to these events. All well thought out tips will be well received whatever the event. Don't be backward about coming forward if you have a tip.
It's 6 days until the start of the Olympics.

Open golf 3pm 2 ball. Lawrie v Kuchar
First 2 days of the open have not been typical links golf, the damp greens and little wind made target golf possible. Today the wind is increasing and the greens have dried and I believe thinking/plotting your way round the course will be a major asset. Kuchars record in previous Open's is horrendous- 4 missed cuts in the last 5 years.
Recommend Lawrie to win the 2 ball £25 @ 13/10 Boylesport or BWin.
