formula e this morning in malaysia

buemi led, then suffered an electrical problem that saw him lapped

Yeah, we lost our race win bet, but things do look very comfortable for the championship bet. Buemi dominated qualifying and was extremely comfortable in the race until his issues.

What happened to Prost?  Isn't he in the sister fast car (from memory)

In all honesty, I not yet sure. This race was quite possibly the maddest race I have ever seen - the last three laps in particular were completely insane, multiple issues for multiple cars to the point where the majority of problems were missed by the World TV feed due to the sheer volume of incidents. To give you some idea of just how crazy it was, with three laps to go, Bruno Senna was 12th. Much to my pleasant surprise, when he finished the race, he was 5th!

For Prost, he had an overheating issue in the first half of the race and had to pit two laps early. This meant he was very slow in his second car, needing to conserve energy. I think he hit the barriers at some point too. Oh, and he clipped di Grassi early on also.

Thoughts on Southampton today, away at the hapless Sunderland. A team in the rise against one of the worst premiership outfits I've ever seen yet priced up at 4/5?

hi you'd be happy to back them at 1/2 at home?

think a few weeks ago pre-Allardyce 4/5 would look fantastic. With each week that passes of big sam getting them fitter, introducing a pattern of play and steadying them up then the risk of taking odds on against them at home increases doesn't it?

More like 2/7-1/3 at home if they are 4/5 away.  Sunderland are going to score goals with that front line in the EPL.  As soon as Sam can do anything with the defence they will surely pick up points because of their goal threat compared to other teams in the bottom half.  Sunderland have more shots on target this season than Chelsea for instance.

I obviously want them to fail massively financially but i really don't think they are as bad as people are making out right now.  Defence is the problem and surely big Sam will improve that massively over the next few weeks.

hector if you see this

Eng beat NZ 26-12 in the first test last week

the weather is terrible for this afternoon's game in London, and NZ are 7/4 underdogs

http://www.oddschecker.com/rugby-league/international/england-v-new-zealand/winner

do you give them a shot?

they faded after 50 mins last week, looked undercooked, presumably will be up to speed for this?

Plymouth host Carlisle in the FA Cup today.

Pretty sure that Fred was on this for the league game a few weeks ago, which Plymouth won easily.

Any reason why we should not have another dabble?     Billy Hills have Plymouth at 17/20

Recommend £20  Plymouth to win

Afternoon tighty.

I think the wet weather is to englands advantage as the pack is englands strength and the wet will nullify nz greater off load threat. Quite like the unders points though.

365 are 11/10 vardy gets under 19.5 goals this season in the league (4/6 20 or more).  Surely the unders is the value there?  He could easily get sold in the window to a bigger club and become a squad player.  Add regression to the mean in and the under looks tempting to me.  Any thoughts Tighty?

He won't get sold in the window. 100% not. under contract til 2018, happy and the whole team plays to his strengths. we win games off 35-40% possession and he won't be the same player in a possession based team with slower build ups. Not his strength.

regression to the mean and injury are obviously valid concerns. as long as 3 of schlupp, albrighton, dyer and mahrez are in the side to serve him he'll continue to get chances though
