We got short headed in the last, finishing 2nd.

Not seen the League Table.

Finally.

Newcastle finished 2nd, so that's not so bad.

Good fun that, thanks Argue.

We have £100 on Chesterfield for relegation from L1 at 15-2 (£50 at 8-1 and £50 at 7-1) and now feels like a good time to take the freeroll. Lay £100 at 3.25 please.

I never thought they were as good as their early-season results but conversely I don't think they're as bad as their current run suggests (six straight losses in the league, and out of the Cup at the hands of Walsall).

As tough as their upcoming fixtures look, we are in a position to be able to win £525 for no risk, so we'll take it.

Looked a couple of days ago and Mark Cooper was favourite to take over at Chesterfield. Just looked again and Danny Wilson is 1-6, so guess it's pretty much a done deal.

Not sure if that's a good thing or not.

For anyone able to use bwin, 20-1 David Moyes to be next permanent Everton manager is worth taking according to my sauces.

What's happening to martinez

Nothing imminently, but every cloob moves on at some point.

Lol. Nice pronunciation observation Chompy.

As an Evertonian, I truly hope your sauces are off. Would defo be a retro-step in every sense of the word. Furthermore, if the Americans proceed with their £200m buy following due diligence, I'd have thought that Moyes would be the last candidate on their list.

Came across this on Twitter, by Jamie Lynch of Timeform, and it made me chuckle.

BAND AID 2015 (King George Remix)

 It’s King George time

There’s a horse needs to be laid.

At Kempton Park

He’s going right and he might not stay.

But Irish stars – there’s plenty,

One can spread a smile of joy.

Put your money on the Don

At Christmas time.

But say a prayer,

Pray for the Mullins one.

Over three miles, it’s hard

To let him bowl along.

There’s a zone outside his comfort

And it’s a zone of dread and fear.

One the Don and Cue Card flow in.

For Vautour it ends in tears.

And the alarm bells at Ascot

Are the clanging chimes of doom.

Well exploit, bank on the Don,

Instead of Cue.

And we won’t see Sil Co win again this Christmas time.

The blinkers gift he’ll get this year spells strife.

Al Ferof never grows,

Smad’s rating is too low.

You must know it’s Cossack’s prize bar falls.

9/4 might be not for everyone.

Here’s to them, at 3 out when he’s 2s on.

You must know it’s Cossack’s prize bar falls.

Heed these words: Bet Don, no frets, King George, watch him win.

Heed these words: Bet Don, no frets, King George, watch him win.
