Quick quiz - here's Kev Allen, a certificated degen, with three fellow degens. Can you name them? One used to be a regular Freddie, another occasionally lurks.

Clue - none of them are Eso Kral, but he's in the same team of reprobates.

Got them all apart from the guy on the right and it is annoying the hell out of me that i cant recall his name

^^^^

Whilst the Brits are doing well in the Aussie Tennis, it seems to have been forgotten that the Aussie Millions poker is also taking place, something the Brits used to do well in.

7 Events in, & as far as I can see, our success is limited to a 3rd place in the PLO for Peter Costa, & Stephen Chidwick winning - obv - the 8 Game Mix.

The Tennis Brits have had more sets than the Poker Brits, it seems.

it hasnt really been on my radar (probably says more about me than the aussie millions) but do we have many over there?

Does not seem to be as many as usual, though I did see Richard Ashby's name somewhere.

A while back, iirc, James Keys sold action on blonde & was 2nd in the Main, I think.

The site is not navigation friendly, but for any interested in poker, here's the Results page. In researching some articles yesterday, I was able to see how well the Brits were faring in less than 5 hours. Yesterday was officially a bad day at the office. Don't even ask.

https://www.aussiemillions.com/live

Keys lost HU to the guy from Wolf Creek if memory serves?

REC BET

£50 West Brom half-time/full-time, 8-5 with Unfair Sportsbook.

I can't see anything other than a painful defeat for Poshies here. Confidence will have been damaged by last night's game and Pulis saddled 6 x Jolly Green Giants in the third round (six foot plussers). We just can't cope with dem big units.

Well I'll help annoy you more now, here's another photo of Team Reprobate, including another ex-Freddie who used to post here a lot. Can you name him, too?

How many other faces here do you recognize?

http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing/racing-specials/long-term/cheltenham-festival/prestbury-cup

SUGGEST £50 IRELAND 13/8 if someone can get fred on with Paddy.

Reasoning to follow in a bit price only going one way since this market opened a few weeks ago.

Reasoning

Was going to suggest this in a few days but the excellent final furlong podcast has stolen the thunder this morning (hence the price move this morning).

The 17 non handicap races (excluding bumper) if you take the odds of the top ten in each race the expected Irish winners is 11.1 (Tony Keenan on the podcast suggests 10.4 this was before last weekend).

Based on trends/historical stats expected 3 Irish winners in the rest of the events. (obviously harder to weigh up the handicaps and the very open looking bumper at this stage).

To sum it up i think Ireland should be more 4/6 here, at present the shortest English horse ante-post is Thistlecrack in the world hurdle (11/4).

Obviously racing is not decided by trends but was very surprised Ireland were not at least joints here (draw not impossible).

Thanks Tal.

The 1st February is starting to look expensive.

Morning Tighty.

I think Eddie Jones is a mole for the Aussies. His selections seem bizarre. If we have Paddy Power still can we have £20 on Scotland to beat England @ 23/10. If not then the 21/10 with betfred is good. I can't have Scotland bigger than 6/4. A back line stuffed full of Bath players who are struggling to score, Farrell at 12, and don't even mention his back row. All led by one of the most repugnant people in sport. If that doesn't get the Scots up for it then nothing will.

        Bet Type: Single
            Scotland v England Match Prices
                Scotland 21/10
Possible Payout (inc. stake) 62.00 GBP
    1 bet @
    20.00 GBP

    Total Cost: 20.00 GBP
Total Possible Payout (inc. stake): 62.00 GBP

Can we not try and get these prices?  I am very heavily restricted on Paddy, but this is the 6 nations, so I guessed I could still get on (I could get over £40).  If that didn't work, we could always try Betfair.  I know we have recently winning, but we still shouldn't be giving edges like this away.

It's 21/10 on PP anyways. Oddschecker not up to date.

I've not attempted to place a wager on PP for sages, but it used to be the case that whilst we were generally heavily restricted, we could often get more on the day, especially on highly liquid markets.

Are we now zero zero zero status?

I'll fund Betfair later today, too, sorry, never realised Chompy had spent it all again.
