Wigan won, Burton lost.

That's good, right?

Nut-nut. Walsall lost too, which also helps. Wigan now 1-8 with the Stoke crew.

Joshua King had just joined Callum W at the top of the Bournemouth scoring charts on five. Fancy our boy will get more game-time for the remainder of the season. Seven will win it.

awful conditions at aintree now

Weight stops trains, as the old saying goes.

Its not going to be a Red Marauder/Smarty national, is it?

I keep looking down the list for a bog loving dour stayer, and there aren't many.

Unioniste maybe?

What would be your view on Le Reve, Adzy? A small wager has been placed. Whether I bet the horse I intended to remains to be seen, of course.

A large wager has been placed

Edit.  Meh

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Now that's over and we've all done our money, I want to put up Droopys Buick in the Scottish Derby final tonight (Shawfield 9.24).

I'm a big fan of the dog already on for the English Derby and he set the TR last week in the semi final. If turning infront I cannot see any dog coming from behind him personally including Ballymac Matt. I think we have the most EP of the field and after taking the TR last week I can't understand how in my eyes we are basically being priced at 4/1 to turn the bend infront. There are strong dogs behind but Shawfield is a tough track to pass on and we are TR holder. Turn infront please Buick and get Oi Oi'ing imo. (Take 7/2+).

Bugger. I say, bugger.

I had one job........

That bet is CANCELLED, I will take it myself, "Off-Fred".

I'll try again now.....

no need, save yourself some clicks if you see this, the price has gone.

one of those things.

OK, I'll not bother, I'd probably misclick again if I did.

Fingers crossed for Highest Opening Partnership, then....

It is off-thread though.

Haha, Simmons and Rohit is a good opening partnership, so you should have a fair sweat. Let's hope for KP out early, to help both bets

Be the greatest sweat ever if this one wins now, Mumbai's first wicket fell at 8, I believe........

That was probably the highlight of the game for them. You'd have had to be lucky to miss-click any market they won, thoroughly outplayed :-(

Tighty, or MereAuditor.

Doobs placed a bet for Fred yesterday, Warwickshire to win something or other.

I'm unclear how much it was. Doobs offered "up to £20 EW" as I recall. Did we take the full amount? I can't quite tell from reading the posts, thoigh it looks that way, as Tighty never mentioned a figure.

Month to date -£338

Outstanding Bets £3,362

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eCEvN9MELsUxB81rHuWrfoX3zwIMPQQ205Lcjm3kbgU/edit#gid=23

We didn't Rule the World in the grand national, drew a complete blank and had to take that £211 loss yesterday

I think this is one of the best sports pictures you'll see. such a lot going on. that's nina in purple. yes, we backed her horse.

Here is the technique our good friend Michael O'Leary recommends at check-in to try and swing something into the hold for free on the way back to Dublin. Not sure he'll be charged £32.50 to do so like the rest of us

Querrey also lost in the quarters at Houston to Monaco

overall yesterday -£227

It doesn't look like the Masters will provide us with much short term succour for results, only Matsuyama to finish in the top 20 looks likely to be a winner. Hopefully Speith continues to enjoy the scenic delights of Augusta and it stays close tonight. What a putter he is though.

Nice to see this tweet from an Arsenal fan. 82!

Ian Poulter ‏@IanJamesPoulter

I knew it was going to be a bumpy ride but not that bumpy... Lost my touch early on the greens & didn't find it again. 82 my highest by 4.

Anthony Joshua is now as short as 6/4 for SPOTY after becoming (lowers voice, elongates vowels) heavyweight champiiiioooon of the woooooorld last night

football, Arsenal's hopes of winning the PL took another blow at upton park, now ten points behind, and they can win another 15 by winning out, conceded a hat-trick to the top-knotted targetman

if only newcastle weren't so abject, we might get both sunderland and norwich down. they play each other next week in a big one. There were no posts about Pardew yesterday.

Aguero scored, but looks likely to lose the golden boot bet we have to kane

Watford got a point. No, I am not joking, they really did. 38 now, and considering they went over 35, our spread bet point about two months ago it really has been a damp squib since

leeds lost again in the championship, 8 points behind Preston in the spread bet where they get a 3 point start

Charlton lost to QPR. not even looking at the spread bet loss on charlton.

Will Grigg has scored 20 league goals this season for Wigan including 16 in his last 16 league apps. wigan now 4 points clear at the top of league one after beating coventry nil, 1-0. we need that wigan bet to get over the line to cover incoming football season losses. Wigan now unbeaten in 20 league games

bury won, chesterfield won. bury five points clear in that match bet with 5 points to go and chesterfueld pulling clear of the drop

Peterborough, go on, guess.......lost. worst guessing game of the year

Cambridge won in div 2 and are only 5 poijnts off the required top 7 position with 5 to play

Ha, excellent report Tighty, ty.

I confess, I was not expecting any Pardew jibes yesterday. No singing when he is winning.

There were not many clouds in the bookies blue sky yesterday, the Joshua win was the only bad result all day, so we all went to bed happy. Ish.

Loving The Masters, & there may yet be more twists & turns. Matsuyama was in wonderful form, ditto Alliss & Brown. Poults 82 was a shocker, though. That course can really bite.

Quick shout-out to nutter5932, aka Benjamin Nuttall Esq, who lurks on this thread every single day, but rarely posts, as he's a little shy. In fact, in 8 years of trying, we've only managed to get him in front of the TV cameras twice.

Well last night he won himself a Vegas Package worth £3,500. In a freeroll of all things.

Congrats Ben, delighted for you. He lives, I think, in somewhere dreadful, Grimsby or that area.

This photo was, if I recall correctly, 6 years ago, in Luton G.

my bookies managed to only b/e yesterday, as loads of women backed "rule the world" as it was their favourite take that song ...

"oh, I knew that one would win, it was my best friends first song at her wedding"
