 I would have to say that this is my favourite away ground I have visited - fantastic facilities and picturesque too. That is St James Church fantastic building dating from 1300s |

Anyone like anything at Uttox this afternoon. Hammering down locally if anyone is playing. Very much doubt it will be good to soft on the off.
Card looks bit scrappy , the 8 runner hcap hur now 7. bumper full of first timers. 7 runner maiden. 8 runner hcap with a fav that is a 15 race maiden  as much as not a lover of nov hcap chases GRAND GIGOLO in 2.50 looks ok for e/w bet ~5/1 bit obvs pick but thats all i can see. should like soft ground and last run after a fall was ok. had decent hurdle mark, trainer and jock both ok, too. Are u going Arb? |

I have backed Flemensbay in the 250, PU last time out but won here 13 month ago, seems to like this track. The other selection is Rose Red in the 400, I backed it two runs ago at uttoxeter where it won very well, it was backed fairly heavy late on, it went off 9/2 fav last time out and showed very little. It seems to live at uttoxeter and hasn't raced at any other track this year, perhaps this horse is locally trained? One to watch for any late support today.
