Pablo Cuevas is through to tomorrow's semifinal after beating Pierre Mathieu 7 - 6 6 - 1. He will face the winner of the Kohlschrieber/Olivo match being played later on. Olivo would be the opponent of choice.

The cuevas bet looks really good at this stage. Olivo is almost certain to have a lull after this massive win over kohlschreiber . Klizan is a huge hurdle to get over if he is at his best, so often takes the racket out of your hand. I would expect klizan to make the final from here.

The top seventy players and ties make the cut at The Open and that cut currently stands at even par after today's first round*.
What do we think the actual half-way cut will be at the close of play tomorrow?
I reckon it''ll be +4 as the forecast is for fairly heavy rain and ~20mph winds, or slight drizzle and moderate zephyrs as the locals might say.
*not quite complete.

Premier league relegation market is an interesting one this year especially if one of Burnley and Hull make a good start. Hard to call.

Evening Tighty.
Could we have £20 on Juan Monaco to beat Fognini in the Davis cup match between Italy and Argentina please. Fognini is far from the player he was a couple of years ago and that form seems to be what it has been priced up on .
£20 Monaco @ 7/5 with betvictor.
Foggy proper demolished him :-(

http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing/market-rasen/14:45/winnerPerfect 16 runner hcap for ew betting. 3 against the field for me for an interest on a quiet Saturday for fred. Impossible to have a bad bet ew in the race if you get top price. Henryville 9/1 ew is under win and place on betfair. Only ride for Fehily in the meeting, only runner for trainer Fry who traveled nearly 250 miles to run the beast. Recommend £50 e/w (happy to take 8/1) Cernnunnos - Paul Kealy in the RPost today makes a very good case for the horse on form and the fact the jockey very rarely gets as low as 10stone 4 never mind in the summer out of season so to speak. We have missed the juicy prices. Worth a bet at 6/1 or bigger for £50 e/w. Long house hall - £50 ew at 13/2 just based on the fact it is 5/4 in the place market. No other views on it. No brainer to bet it. 7/4 coupled the 3 to win the race and plenty of place value to boot.

ffs - give me a fucking break!!!!! Even though we had the winner! Other two done at 1/50 and 1/10 to place in running. Both fall at the last. Not a big price my 3 and Tal's all finish placed without the chaos at the last.

Cuevas is into tomorrow's final and will play Martin Klizan.
Juan Monaco did not do very well.

I think that Klizan looks a little bit too big but probably not enough to warrant a cover bet. But everyone has to decide what makes them happiest, and guaranteeing a profit is never a bad thing IMO.
