Yes take it. I thought 11/10 was more the price.
Hoped you might say that - I took it anyway, & would have kept if off thread if you said no.

Over 3.5 sets available on PP at 2/1.
Seems like a better price for a very similar bet or am I missing something. Seems extremely unlikely for Vesely to win 3-0.

You're not missing anything, Vesely 3-0 is 45/1 so defo a better price than the 13/8 and also the 9/5. Although I don't think Tikay can get on with paddy power so not an option for the thread. Personally I'm not a fan of the bet from a Vesely perspective, I watched his first round match against the qualifier Saketh Myneni and it was the worst match I've watched in a long long time in a slam. Both were horrific and Myneni actually served for the match but failed miserably. I didn't see Djokovic's opener so can't comment on the injury angle.

Relying largely on Djok's injury to have a case for this happening. If this is the case and it worsens it's a distinct possibility he retires before the potential fourth set begins thus voiding the bet, however only one set has to be completed for the original "Vesely to win a set" bet. It looks like PP have removed this market and it's only Betfair offering the 2/1, with everyday going 13/8 and Choral 11/8

In a turn around of events it looks like Vesley has withdrawn from the match before it has started, so all bets should be void whilst Djok advances and has a few days rest.

Ha, what a turn round. What are the Ladbrokes rules in such cases?

Ha, what a turn round. What are the Ladbrokes rules in such cases? Ladbrokes are all voided, I think it is the same process for all bookmakers, retiring before the match starts voids all bets on that particular match. I'm sure there will be something to use the £20 refund on later on

Just ask them what happens to the bet and put on your best surprised and happy face when they say you can get your money back.
