Will give that some thought overnight, Keith.

Not madly keen on a slow lingering death for Fred.

Isn't it having the best year ever, with the highest profit/roi?  Be surprised if it isn't.   Could do with getting rid of a troll or two and getting arbboy* back, but other than that, not sure what you can do.  The accounts are what they are.

It would be a big blow to Blonde if this goes.

* I know he can troll a bit too, but I am a bit more forgiving of those that contribute than those that only ever show up to tell people they have lost.

Funny your last point Doobs, as you seem to antagonise people and their bets quite a lot. To be fair, thread should be renamed to "Doobs' tips to Tikay"
this is complete nonsense and an example of the mindless trolling that affects this thread. Doobs is one of the best tipsters and most importantly helpful contributors we have. If we had 10 more like him we'd be richer and enriched.

I've been the first to defend you on blonde at times and congratulate you on a successful tip but sometimes you are a daft sod.

No need for it Aaron.

In the NFL since 2003, double-digit home underdogs are 40-26 Against the spread (60.6 %)

Anyone taking their hard-earned and putting it on the Browns vs Patriots in Tom Brady's first game back?

don't all shout at once
Gotta love a 10.5 point home dog.Hue Jackson scripted plays were quite good for the bengals so a browns score of any sort on the opening drive would be interesting.

Worthy of note they opened at +7 and that didn't last. What price they're +13 at kick off?

Anyone any idea what is going on.  365 have the browns at 9/1.  Everyone else half the price, yet the handicap is around -10.5 across the board.   Onv don't want to put a palp through the 365 account, as it is pretty valuable.

No news that I can find (one significant Pats player has practiced with a small injury today, but it doesn't seem relevant)

Can only be a rick.

Cheers Tal.  Will probably look at the handicap later in the week.

100% certain it's a palp. 5.4 - 5.5 on Betfair.

Account closer if you back it I reckon.

Browns now 4/1 on 365 so the fat fingered odd compiler has knocked off for the night.

I've seen doobs ignore stupid comments aimed at him too many times (like the above)to think he's the type to antagonise people. Definitely offers a lot

I know Doobs knows his stuff & never said any different, but to call people out for their comments when Doobs has a dig at other was quite hypocritical IMO. There are a couple more too, which if course stops people from posting. At the end of the day tft is the only thread on this board, so we need people to keep posting if the forum can stay alive

Hi all,

We've got the Japanese GP and the Hong Kong ePrix this weekend, as Formula E's third season begins. My bet recommendations will be a little erratic this weekend as I'm out in Hong Kong and my schedule is extremely busy.

Will be posting some suggestions later Smiley

It would be a real sadness if TFT were to change.

I log in a few times each day to see what Hector, Doobs, Tighty, etc have to say.

Once done, if there is not much on TFT I will browse elsewhere on Blonde. However if TFT were no longer running I doubt I would be inclined to log in.

I no longer play poker, and I wouldn't log in to look at a Rugby, cycling, boxing thread in turn.

I could go into why I don't post as much, but I think you all know why, so we don't need to go there. I suspect others have felt the same thing from those with more 'knowledge', some who don't even put up suggestions themselves.

This is a great resource, and I for one hope it stays, but maybe with less backbiting from those who purport to know more than the rest of us.

Well, the weekend for Fred opened with the mustwinniest of must-win games, as the (please keep losing) San Francisco 49ers hosted the (please start winning) Arizona Cardinals in California.

The Cardinals were missing their quarterback, Carson Palmer, and Drew Stanton was the man under center last night. He is not the best Stand-in in the league. That's an understatement.

He delivered in line with expectations. Sadly.

The 49ers led early, although neither offense got going in the first half. The scores were tied at 7-7 at the half.

Step forward, David Johnson.

One hundred and eight five total yards including 157 rushing. He went to town on a weakened San Fran defense, sampling from the buffet on offer and the result was a 33-21 victory for the Cardinals.

The Cards still need more than Johnson and future Hall of Fame receiver Larry Fitzgerald to turn up if they have any hope of making the postseason.

But the important thing for Fred us that the team we needed to win won and the team we needed to lose lost. The 49ers simply cannot stop the run. The fans were shouting at the head coach to change the quarterback, which means to Colin Kaepernick  (remember him?). Chip Kelly was having none of that, though. He is beholden to no one.

The 49ers play in Buffalo next week and then back to Santa Clara to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before they get a week off. Lose those and it's very much game on for them to be the worst in the league.

Johnson’s barnstorming night on the ground propels him to the top of the list temporarily, of course having played a game more than everyone else.

Great write up Tal, & a rare case of lose-win = win-win.

We have had a bet on Mr Johnson "Most Rushing Yards", £25 EW @ 18/1. It's with the late BMU, so it'd be rather nice if that were to get home.

How is that going, or is it best not to enquire? *

* Enquire or inquire?

Johnson is top of the rankings right now, but has now played a game more. This was the first game of week 5. He will likely still be in the place money by the end of the weekend.

As to your other question, I'd say enquire.
