Made my Saturday Sunday night.  Ore scrapes through to the top 3 to get that bet paid too.  Unfortunately Saara seems to be struggling at the last hurdle on the other side.

Edit.  Aalto back into odds on.   Ooooooh

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

BBC is reporting that Mercedes have had a bid for Bottas rejected for next season.   Not sure whether is positive or negative.  Odds on betfair have gone out slightly

It's an Andrew Benson article, so I would doubt the accuracy .. however let's assume it's true. I see this as a good thing for the Bottas bets. You wouldn't expect Williams to accept the first offer as they're obviously going to look to maximise the deal on their part. But, clearly Bottas is the #1 target for Mercedes, which is very promising. I know for a fact that Mercedes and Valtteri have already discussed contractual terms.

Seems to be talk of Paddy Lowe going to Williams as part of the deal. Allison to Mercedes?

This sounds like an incredibly complicated deal. Good luck sorting all this out.

I would expect that the deals for non-driving staff members are completely separate discussions. However, I honestly have no idea whatsoever about those moves ..

Twitter quite funny while it's on

It would be such a poetic ending to 2016 if an immigrant lesbian won a show that Sun readers/Brexit voters absolutely live for #xfactorfinal

Waiting for Nigel Farage to drive a bus on with 'We give Saara Alto 5 million votes a week, let's give that to Matt instead' #xfactorfinal

What do we think about having a small interest in Nathan Redmond FGS against Watford at 8/1 please. Perhaps £10EW if we can get on with Bet 365.

I have backed him at 14/1 too for top Saints goal scorer.

Puel talked him up again in his press conference today as a striker that has impressed him and he fits the system that Puel is trying to put together.

He is definitely going to start up top at the weekend alongside Shane Long who is 4/1. Tadic will play in the number 10 spot and is 13/2 so the price looks fair.

Charlie Austin currently has 6 goals, Redmond has 3 goals. Austin is now going to be injured for 3-4 months.

Today was the first Premier League game that Redmond hasn't started although he did come on at half time. No goals in 6 and has definitely struggled recently but still looks a live one with the injury to Austin.

Very few goals going to come from elsewhere. Shane Long never prolific, J-Rod completely gone and not much coming from midfield.

Wednesday play Barnsley tomorrow night.

Whilst we (Wednesday) are on the fringe of the playoffs we really haven't got going this season and struggling to score goals.

Barnsley have been a bit of a suprise this season and are getting some terrific results. A friend of mine saw them beat Norwich on Saturday and was really impressed.

This is a big game for Barnsley, a local derby and they will be desperate to beat their bigger neighbours. They will be up for it and are capable of scoring goals against us who are struggling to put chances away.

Barnsley at 9/2 is just too big for me. Recommend £20 on with beteveryday. Please get other views but looks a nice bit of value. You can have £20 with me if you want the bet.

I think this is a must bet & really think we should be backing with higher stakes. We look incredibily lacklustre at the minute & have no firepower whatsoever. I wouldn't be surprised to see them turn us over tonight
