Wrote a post about Top Xmas tv show but managed to lose it writing on mobile *sigh*

Anyone have any opinions? Fairly competitive this year which makes a change.

Mrs.Browns is 10.30.....never watched it!

So my initial thinking was Bakeoff, but has 2 things against it; the 4:45 showing and the fact that the LAST show is actually at 7pm on Boxing Day (this is just Part 1 and feels like a catch-up job)

Mrs Brown's Boys is on pretty late, so was actually leaning towards the favourite being the value. However someone I know reckons Eastenders has a chance with Phil Mitchell (yep still in it apparently) due to die.

Still think i'll be backing Strictly @ 2/1

It says much for society that the highest rated TV Shows are likely to be cooking show drivel & that Mrs Brown shite.

Meanwhile, "Engineering Marvels" on PBS America, featuring the construction of the Hoover Dam & the Panama Canal can probably be backed at prices as high as 8/1. There's the value, surely?

Think you should be all over the Chargers on the handicap tonight. They're into just 4 point favourites now from 7ish in the week. There's been big money failing on the Browns all season and they're 2-12 against the spread. Usually at far higher than this. It's 10/11 pretty much everywhere and I'm probably going to nap it.

Great news for this bet is I backed the Browns +4 at 11/10 when the news broke last night about Chargers running back, Melvin Gordon, being out of the game.

I say great news because Cavey and I have regularly been on opposite sides of bets of late and I've no doubt his family will be absolutely delighted with their Christmas presents this year

Haha I hope so. Unfortunately I respect your opinion on there matter. I say unfortunately as it gives es me reason to doubt myself on it now! But I just can't see them getting close. I assume that the Gordon news is the for the line shortening to such an extent? Even with no run game. They've got far too much in the air to crush the browns still. Especially if RG3 stays in the game.

ETA: Actually, you have a shot. If the Steelers win tomorrow they secure a playoff shot and hopefully for you will rest their starters next week. Then again, Cleveland might say sod it, we've won a game and want that first pick, so play to lose.
