Great stuff Tighty.  Guess he won't be 22/1 next time.

All that, & more.

I don't understand the finer points of NFL either, but Tighty has a great knack of explaining things in a way we can all understand.  He'd make a great Sports Betting mentor & coach.

Some "value hunch".

Well done Tighty, yet again, thanks.

rarely does it go as well as that.

meanwhile Wasps beat Toulouse with a last gasp try

All being well they travel to Parma to play Zebre next week and get a five point win, and then win the group (Connacht are at Toulouse and shouldn't get a bonus point win)

decent chances of having two home quarter finalists for our bets

Don't want to give the game away, but a very respected Freddie made mention today of Brighton being 13/10 to win the Sky Bet Championship.

They are on a stunning run of form, for over 2 seasons now, & currently sit 2 points clear at the top, with a game in hand over 2nd placed Newcastle, & well clear of 3rd.

I fear we missed the boat here - surely much bigger was available pre-Season, when it seemed to be readily assumed that Newcastle would romp home hard held.

Brighton lost yesterday, & Newcastle won.  WP me.

As to my comment that they have had a stunning run of form, this was what the guy - Tighty (who else?) - wrote....

After the first half of this season they are top of the Championship, 17 games unbeaten. and have lost only 2 out of 24 matches conceding 15 goals with clean sheets in nearly 60% of games. Longer term, Brighton have only lost 7 of their last 70 Championship games conceding 57 goals

That was before yesterday, of course.

When it comes to high quality bokking, I have no peers.

27 seconds in, the first touchdown for anyone who wants to see it

Lewis had a historic game, becoming the first player in NFL postseason history to have a rushing touchdown, receiving touchdown, and a kick return for touchdown in the same game.

First in any game to have a receiving and return TD in the same qtr too according to Sky sports.

And the pats haven't lost in over two years with Lewis playing

couple of other updates

Spurs were mentioned yesterday, we are on them at 11/1 from October for the PL. 2nd ahead of today's games, they are a bigger price now..

--

Atlanta's offense looked unstoppable last night. we have £25 e/w at 20-1 on them for the superbowl, paying 1/2 1,2

look aheads have them modest favourites if they host green bay next week, modest underdogs if they have to go to Dallas

one more win needed for a return

our "blue sky" scenario is a Falcons/Patriots superbowl

Yes, we're all Green Bay Packers fans tonight.

Go cheeseheads!

Just thinking of you, Tighty. You don't want to have to change that avatar. Smiley

Whatever happens, having two of the final four is nice. And could you just imagine that Super Bowl? We'd all be sitting in our Chesterfields, smoking fine cigars and the only sweat would be what Lady Gaga's opening song will be.

Would be a great Fred night, that.

We shall see.

We could not be better placed than we are right now though.

I took some advice, too, & had a small wager on the Falcons to win the NFC  (?), @ 3/1, rather than back them in a single last night. Effectively a double. Wink
