Radwanska played quite poorly vs Konta last night. I'd leave the bet at 25s if anyone was looking to bet her based on what I wrote on the last page.

Konta surely has to be a great bet at 66s for Wimbledon. Have no idea why her game wouldn't suit grass, she's had tough/unlucky draws the past two years.

Konta really has slipped in the top ten almost unnoticed by the general public - if she were to go deep at Wimbledon she'd be thrown into a different level of fame and have the huge pressure that Murray had to cope with for years of trying to become a British winner (yeah, I know but still, British).

Would this count against her?

Difficult to know how someone would react to that I guess or what the level of coverage would be. With Serena looking to flaky currently at the top of the market then it is a great ante post bet whatever imo if you don't mind tying money up for 6 months.

I've taken a small interest in Jack Sock to win the second quarter in Malbourne at 22s with PP
http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/australian-open/mens/2nd-quarter-winner

He is in the final in Auckland tonight, so that could be a worry from a fitness perspective. But this quarter of the draw is most open and I like that price on a player in form and moving up the rankings vs the players in that section.

Anyone have any thoughts?

haha I backed that about 10 mins ago and just seen this. Good bet, weak third of the draw and I think he prepped well in the Hopman Cup and has taken that form into Auckland. Playing well and I don't think fitness will be an issue as he will have a 2 day break between tourns and he hasn't had any gruelling matches (yet) this week.

Had a couple of quarter winners in the womens too. But they are with a firm who have monitored this page in the past so better keep schtum.

I've put £10 on this for Fred @ 22/1

NP if you want me to keep it, as I'm chasing for the week anyway Grin

confirmed we have it

Should we be backing Barnsley for relegation? Lost their top scorer & soon their captain. I can see a long hard slog for them now & expect to see them drop like a stone. Should have enough to stay up, but 50/1?

Nice read Bergeroo, I really like the Kuznetsova pick at 100/1, hell of a season she had including the wta finals, having glanced through the draws this sections look the weakest of the lot.  Halep must be taken on as she is performing like a spoilt child and seems to lack bottle in the big matches.   The one player you haven't mentioned is Puig, 125/1 could be massive if she plays to her ability, Olympic gold in the summer and looked a world beater.  I only mention her as this quarter looks dreadful.   Kerber quarter is very tricky.   Radwanska can make a lot of players look bad but I don't think She underperforms in big matches, she just doesn't have the power to win these big titles as the player Up the other end has superior weapons, she relies on opppnents losing matches.  Pliskova would be my pick to win it if she can make easy work of her opponents in the first week as she often looks low on stamina at the tail end of tournaments.  I backed her at the us open and first final nerves probably got the better of her as she looked the clear winner.  Pliskova probably has the most destructive shot in the women's game now, many may disagree.   Safarova you mentioned was a tricky floater in Serena draw, I actually think 6/4 wickmayer will dump her out in the first round.

Jack sock looks a good spot Bergeroo at 22/1, seems to be improving each year.

No we shouldn't. 50/1 is a terrible price.

They have 38 points, 45 is almost always enough to stay up in the Championship, and with some dire teams in the league this season, 40 might well be enough.

Do you really think their true price of getting 7 or fewer points from their remaining 21 games is less than 50/1?

At 500/1 I might be marginally interested.

£30m a year after tax will do that to people. Especially mercenaries like him. Get away from the British press and become the best paid player in the world?! Yes please

It doesn't ring true with me - why would he become unsettled about a move in January slap bang in the middle of a great season with CFC?

It's not as though an offer (if there is one) wouldn't still be there in the summer.

It's FAKE NEWS I tell ya.

~Next two winners both out of t5 as well.  t1 and t2 were 2/5 coupled in the last race and found nothing from the boxes at all.  They are trapping at different speed wide to the rails.  Def decent outside for sure now.

Only the dodgy graded hurdles stopped a clean sweep of t5 and t6's so far.  How much is that Moet at Walsall!!!!!!!   Will see you later.  Be down half hour after the lucky last at Romford is finished (1015pm).  There is a sports quiz there tomorrow night one of my mates says with £1000 of free bets at stake.  Me and him are going.  Anyone else in the Bham area fancy it tomorrow night for a TFT sports quiz team?  The Walsall 25/25 mtt is on this weekend as well
