The Cross  Country (no, wait!) has a 13/8 fav and 10 runners with two rags over 50s on the machine. So it doesn't take a genius to back the second in but I quite like* Auvergnat's last run at Punchestown and the easier course today will suit. 5/1 in quite a few places (quarter first three b365 if you can), 5.75 exchange.

*Subject to the usual caveats when playing the JP cap colour lottery.

Liking this.

Have long been a Cantlow fan, but I was always told he needed good ground. Naturally he will bolt up today relishing the underfoot give....

However, Auvergnats last run in the Risk of Thunder was a real eyecatcher, and getting so much weight and with Rachel Blackmores allowance looks like they may be going for it today.

Will pass on an interesting JP story I learnt in Ireland a few weeks ago, over next week or so.

Many Clouds welcomes back Adzy, very fitting.

Very sad end to a great race.

Was a great horse, and won me a pot load of cash over the years.

RIP old friend.
