I haven't enjoyed the Women's game at Wimbledon this much since Steffi hung up her tennis shoes.
Got on Magdalena at a paltry 275/1 (slow off the mark) with just a few quid, but also have a decent interest in Jelena on the other side of the draw.
Somehow I didn't fancy Johanna's chances on grass, so only backed her for the US Open... Silly me.
Meanwhile the rain stops play & stokes up the tension, and perhaps throws a spanner into the psychological works for a few of the remaining players.

A novice punter I know points out that if we just back Ryb's opponents and she retires before a set is played, we don't collect.
A real belt and braces punter, him. But fair to point out.

Definitely potential scheduling advantages to Venus who will be on first of the women should the rain continue and Djok wraps this up pretty quickly.

Muguruuza is playing now, could be done for 4? Halep and Konta is on Center Court and they can put the roof on.
So Rybarikova/Vandeweghe could easily be the worst affected.

One of the most impressive juvenile performances I have seen was put up by Invincible Army at Newmarket last time out.
He returns on Thursday to C&D in the July Stakes.
He is currently 10-1 and I expect this to be around half the price on the day.
Chuck £15 ew at the 10-1s if you are in a good mood please.
Would go plenty more for Fred but with weather changeable over the next few days, best not to go mad.
Invincible Army July Stakes Winner
10/1 Each Way (3 Places at 1/5 Odds)
Total Stake: £30.00
Potential Returns: £210.00
I know its not tennis, but FYI, final decs in and our boy now a stand out 8-1 with Victor, and generally now 6-1
