Very interesting lower league manager appointment here. Not to many lower league Tunisian legends about ! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dino_Maamria

His managerial record is interesting and on paper looks bang average, however he has taken over both Southport and then Nuneaton Town when bottom or close to it in the Conference North and left them both in comfortable mid table and with glowing reports.

Stevenage long thought to have a very talented young squad and after the disaster of Teddy Sherringham and Darren Sarll fading away after a decent start he looks a shrewd appointment. I am not a believer in new manager bounce but in this case the fans and squad have been in poor spirits (it seems) for a long while so anybody let alone a club legend coming in should help.

They play fellow nothing really to play for Colchester at the weekend https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-2/stevenage-v-colchester/winner

Colchester a sea of blue presumably because they are one of the analytics boys favourites however the xg performance does not make their strikers anymore efficient.

They have very similar squads but at home I think Stevenage are a smidge of value here small bet suggested at 6/4 +

Very divergent prices on the Rugby World Cup available from different firms;
https://www.oddschecker.com/rugby-union/rugby-world-cup/rugby-world-cup-2019/winner
To the rugby guys, is there any value there?

what do you think?

long way off but the groups are known...

I think I know almost nothing about rugby Smiley
There is huge differences in the prices between firms so I was hoping someone more knowledgeable might see something.

It made me think of Rachid Harkouk although I think he was actually of Algerian descent rather than Tunisian.

Got done for dealing in forged money with that now eminent football-agent Barry Silkman when they both played for Terry Venables' Crystal Palace, which led to him being shipped out to play for Notts. County in the 1980's for a short while. Last I heard he was doing a stretch for dealing in illegal spices.

Matchplay golf starts tomorrow - the draw:

https://fantasybracket.pgatour.com/print

oddschecker

https://www.oddschecker.com/golf/wgc-dell-technologies-match-play/winner

Seems to me that the easiest brackets are top right and bottom left.  If you backed every player to win £100 at the betfair prices the brackets split

top left £30

bottom left £23

top right £26

bottom right £35

This would seem to indicate that the best eachway value would be in the two easiest brackets as winning the bracket is 4th place.

The books aren't providing great  odds though so I can only find Patrick Reed, coming back into form and a great match player and Paul Casey also playing very well, as value.

So £10 ew Casey @ 22-1 various and £10 ew on Reed @30-1 should provide a sweat for a couple of days anyway.

ps I have had a small bet on Shubhankar Sharma @ 100-1 but can't really recommend it as the betfair odds are now quite far from this price.

Nice work here, thanks. The one I already really liked was Patrick Cantlay, more so now.

This is a pretty insane ew race.  Jolly is 1/11 to place on the machine (and this is probably only there because the arbers are holding it up at that price giving it away.  The 2nd/3rd fav are obviously incredible value.  Get stuck in.

Perfect situation here.  3rd fav is being gambled.  So the win price now is close to bf price.  Fav is drifting to win and is nearly evens but it now shorter on bf to place than when it was 8/11 to win so the place edge is even bigger and we giving away less on the win part.    2nd fav reminded rock solid.

In 2006/7 i would have made £1000+ risk free on this race with a couple of accounts only.   #glorydays.  Where are they now? Remember hills laying me £20k ew on an even money shot in a race like this and it getting beat!  This would have been worth having a brand new account for just for this race and writing it off after one race.

jolly beat.  Gamble on 3rd in wins.  The accounts don't last 3 months now when you back an even money shot e/w like they used to in 2006!  You will still get shut win lose or draw.

Welcome back horsey.  Not sure where i said it was an interesting effort as i didn't even watch the race.    Races like that have no interest to me other than the huge % edge you have.

Correct, John.

A shame, but it is what it is.

We do occasionally get help from others with 365 though, & we have some credit in hand there via a friend.
