Fantastic article Tikay.  Thanks for posting   Great memories of the tea lady's in the golden era.  Forgot all about Val and her daughters cruising around the office serving us all.  Article absolutely nails every single key factor why they have been so successful.

I just asked Gill if 365 still have tea-ladies with a trolley.

"Yes, 4 times a day"

Amazing.

When do you move firms?

Cheesy

I am sure they are bad, and don't want to detract too much from that...  but a lot of trustpilot bookie reviews are comedy.  From memory aren't the Sky Poker reviews just a list of people saying how rigged if is?  Suspect a 1.7 rating is about average.

Correct. Every online poker site, 'Stars included, is rigged if you read Trust Pilot. It's well worth a read though, comedy gold.

I saw this on Twitter yesterday, but Trust Pilot is like Twitter on steroids.

these players like kobayashe are on multiple tables, are playing regularly every morning, they work for sky poker 1000% and the games are fixed for them to always win, on the river with unbelievable hands. They also fold when you have good hands always

I've no idea how these sorts get through life. Pretty sure there will be a correlation between the it's rigged brigade, & anti-maskers/COVID deniers.

A friend used to work for BetBull and said it was a shitshow from top to bottom so it's most likely true

Racingblogger endorses it on twitter.   So does Phil Taylor what more do you expect?   Why would any punter who isn't closed everywhere else even bother opening an account with anyone like this is beyond me.

Lol precisely.

I don't get it. They operate at a stonking loss. Wynn have chucked some money at them to keep it afloat - and now what? All these firms are a joke and are never going to make it pay long-term

Very much this. I'd be wary about using the likes of Vbet, novibet etc from oddschecker these days, let alone this mob (had never heard of them before today).

They may well be a bag of shite, but surely Wynn chucking millions at them is a positive?  Do they offer free upgrades and refunded resort fees?  Think Marky would be on it if they did.

It amazes me 99% of normal joe casual losing punters bet with anyone but skybet or 365 nowadays.  Their product offering to the average weekend wagon is just miles ahead of anywhere else.

Cheesy

I have an account with BetBull, but never bet any sports there. We had it for the welcome offer slots and odd offer they used to put out.

Think they shut me down after a few deposits, though. I'll see if I can find my old slots spreadsheets to see if we won Cheesy

PS - WTF is a "slots spreadsheet"? Please don't tell me you use HEM & GTO Solvers for Slots?

Dunno if it's still a thing but 9-10 years ago the Betfair Malta office certainly had the tea lady come around with her trolley and selection of little cakes.

Haha, no solvers. We used a calculator to check if offers were +ev, though.

I had an Excel sheet to track all the deposits & withdrawals etc.

The old man is an Excel whizz, so set it up with formulas to track every deposit/withdrawal, and keep a record of site/overall P&L on the front page.
