Rastafish throws himself headfirst into the railbirds, arms outstretched but the sea of bodies parts and Rastafish misses and crashes through the barrier on all fours.

So unlucky..

Touch ungenuine if you ask me.

Would have been a fortunate winner even if it did get up.

Cumani's horse should have won 20 lengths.

Exciting race though.

Why cumani's horse should have won by 20l.

Go easy on me.

Why cumani's horse should have won by 20l.

Go easy on me.

Slowly away, didn't act on the track at all and given a dubious ride.

Still finished like a train (despite doubts over whether it would get the distance) and would have won in another 50 yards.

One move I don't really get today is the move for Ipswich.  I understand that they were nothing like as bad as the scoreline (6-0) looked on Saturday but Carlisle are not a bad team and that is a very long journey.  Carlisle +1/2 1.83 or so looks decent to me.

Potentially interesting one for Thursday.  Athletic Bilbao beat HJK Helsinki 6-0 in the first leg so the tie is over to all intents and purposes so Bilbao are leaving a fair few of their stars at home and haven't been playing Llorente because he wants away.  despite the first leg Bilbao got beat 4-0 last night and are in a bit of a mess.  So we have a team in a mess with disharmony and playing effectively a reserve team but won the first leg 6-0......bit of a banzai but I like Helsinki at home trying to salvage a bit of pride at 9/2 with and 365.  Can see them going off much shorter.

Both our horses this afternoon, one at Southwell, one at Epsom, failed to win, so we are not having a good day.

I'll work through the rest of tonight's football recommends now. Will have to trim the list, or stakes, or both, we are not going to chase our losses, or invest too much in a single session.

I watched both Helsinkis games with Celtic, they are horrible I couldn't bet them with stolen money at 9/2.
