Interesting man-management from AVB tonight starting Cudicini with Lloris on the bench.
Do you think this has all the hallmarks of a player that was bought by the club that the manager doesn't want Ralph?
It looks a bit like the Mourinho Shevchenko/ Bogarde situation.
I really don't know Phil but it's starting to look very much like it although the fact that he was acquired some time after AVB's tenure began would suggest differently. I can understand him being made to wait for a premier league start behind a 'keeper who has been playing excellently and has not missed a game in five years+ but tonight's benching appears rather more pointed so there might well be more to it.
I'm sure Tal

If I had my way, when these shouty types do that banal nonsensical "in the hole/you the man" thing, I'd have them instantly shot. Humanely of course.
one time
I used to seeth at tits who shout 'get in the hole' but i do snigger if someone yells something completely non sensical
Me too especially when it's spuds for the title..
the cheek. 80/1 is a big price for that team, i'd much rather back that than the arse at 16/1....

Is "FORE!" not a bet, here?
Unless we are talking Tiger on current form, which would be "fore right" or "fore left", I think you belng to a bygone age Mr Tal.
Did you know that today, on this thread, a Gentleman suggested Spurs to win the Premier League?
Not yet sure what Banzai classification that gets.
I've taken up ventriloquism.
It has been said before that I belong to a bygone age, although I note that isn't quite what you said
I did actually wonder for a moment if you had hacked Ace's account.
But in his defence Acey is a supporter of Lenny and the knuckle-draggers so I gave him the benefit of the doubt on this occasion whilst making a mental note for future reference.
I love being the lone voice so i've had £50 e/w. You'll see....

Fans I've been speaking to about it have no idea why he's not playing either.
Really don't think it was a behind the back signing, but we are going to have to get used to a lack of openness from the manager to the press. Not even sure AVB plays golf.

Just in before Karabiner's Woolwich Wanderers take their lead.

Last weekend in the championship there were 12 matches , 10 of which were BTS.
On the betfred bonus coupon it was 10 out of 11
. Also there were 11 out of 12
matches which were over 2.5 goals with an average of 3.5 per game.
This weekend Betfred have taken 4 matches, Barnsley, Bristol City, Cardiff, Charlton
off the bonus coupon from the championship. Miserable sods
I suggest a £20 treble on Wolves , Huddersfield , Burnley BTS @ 9-2
£10 fivefold same 3 with Bolton , Middlesbro BTS @ 16-1
£5 banzai on all 8 in the championship BTS @ 100-1
Still trying to get them to cough up on the 9/2 from last week after using the wrong coupon!
Guess I'll be having another crack this time around though. GL

I can't take credit for the Motherwell bet, as much as I would like to. I have yet to have a winning bet backed by fred.
But another poster stuck it up, I spoke up in favour as I watch quite a good bit of Scottish football and find its the market were I have my biggest edge. Especially the lower league games.
Couldn't have gone any worse. And to make matters worse my sky went down during the game. I need one more goal in one of the cup games for a break even night, and it might feel like a win.
