Ian Carter of R5L has the scoop that the opening pairings are

Westy/Molinari,

GMac/Rory,

Garcia/Donald

& Rose/Poults.

Angelo finally makes it to the crease.

This game could still be close if they get Dilshan.

If you just want to pick off an out of date price with a joke firm bet under in MNF Chicago vs Dallas. It opened 45.5 and moved to 43 straight away. Stan James have 43 and are 10/11. It is now 41.5 and will be moving towards 41 if it moves at all. The syndicates have under and I think the ref situation will make all of these games tick down today.

£55 10/11 under 43 Stan James Chicago vs Dallas

This is absolutely right. Two very bad offensive lines, two well above average defenses

Cutler in particular can be taken off his game and gets happy feet when under pressure

Romo performs miracles but has too.

Forte might be back, but not fully fit

Should be a low scorer.

It didn't last long.

Must have been a promotional price or some such bollocks.

Does anybody know what time the 4ball pairings will be announced perchance?

I believe they said around 10.40pm, not 100% though.

That's great, thanks. So near enough at the same time as the 4somes? Would one expect a similar timed announcement for Saturday's pairings also, albeit a day later?

I'm sorry but I mis-understood the question.

The afternoon 4-ball pairings are not usually confirmed until the morning 4-somes are almost complete, or vice-versa depending on which order they play them.

It is only the morning session's pairings which are announced the night before.

Yes, it was signalled here this morning, but I was otherwise engaged & missed it.

Can get almost that on betfair.  Europe drifted out to 2.94.

MCC Mini report

Absolutely different class death bowling from Tim Southee almost pulls off a brilliant and unlikely win off for New Zealand

In a classic, Sri Lanka almost win off the last ball getting one when a clear run out is missed by the fielder at the stumps drops the ball, but the ball drops onto the stumps

It's a super over......

Dilshan 3 sixes, McCullum another 2 and he now leads with 9

Malinga 1 wicket, trailing A Mendis by 6

Both those bets up against the wall and facing the firing squad.

Meanwhile, some lovely news on the Ryder Cup.

We have £50 on Europe @ 2/1, with Betfred.

This arose after a multimillionaire philanthropist - a bookmaker by trade, & a regular on this Thread - kindly sold us £50 of the monster wager he has on the outcome.

Not all bookies are bandits wearing masks, it seems......

ON

£50 @ 2/1, Europe to win the Ryder Cup, Betfair.
