There's something about Keegan Bradley when he's lining up a putt that reminds me of El Blondie when he was deciding how much to bet.

Amazing recollection Ralph, spot on.

T20WC report

South Africa and Pakistan was an amazing game. Colombo behaved as expected. Slow and low and SA struggled to 135, and reduced Pakistan to 60-6 before a late order recovery took Pakistan home right at the end. Which was just as well because the spectre of another match fixing controversy was in my mind so poorly Pakistan's top order played

India followed suit, and struggled to 140, having dropped Sehwag and picked three spinners. A tough chase then? None of it as Australia got there in a canter, smiting 10 sixes into the Colombo stratosphere

For our bets, Australia go to the top of the sixes chart

Kohli only scored 15, so not much joy there

With Malinga and Dilshan well off the pace in the other group, we might need the Aussies to continue battering the opposition to get out of a (so far) - £120 book

Tomorrow

England play New Zealand

Sri Lanka play the West Indies

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/international/twenty20-world-cup/sri-lanka-v-west-indies/winner

To my eyes, Pakistan, Australis and the West Indies look the form sides

Will sleep on a sizeable recommendation on the West Indies tomorrow at odds against. This is pitch specific. Fast Pallakelle suits their big bashers.

Sri Lanka win, England lose and England are out

West Indies win, England lose and there are chances if England were to win the last match

He says his position has become untenable.

I'd argue this is the only period of his time in charge that could reasonably be considered tenable.

Pretty much sums the club up at the moment.

Mr Tikay. You may have to be quick following your nap but it looks like 3G is going to play in the fourballs. We have supported him through his rise to stardom and in this his biggest match of his life I really think we should show some solidarity. The wide open spaces and long course will suit him so just wait till the pairings are announced and suggest £20 on the greatest golfer from Genk, just for the craic.

Rumour has it that Dr Noh is there to support him too !

I was trying to stand strong, but I wilted.

We have £20 on Colsaerts & Westwood @ 13/8 with BetVictor.

Thanks hector.

Love Colsaerts because of the thread.  I laid Woods/Stricker which amounts to teh same thing.

From the BBC

Colsaerts is steaming out there, he's bent in a monster on the fourth to get that match back to all square. The fist pump more effusive this time, he's growing into this thing.

and

Colsaerts is off to a fine start. Just because he hits it miles doesn't mean he is only qualified for fourballs. On this evidence Olazabal must be thinking of playing him all day tomorrow. Still early days, but a good start for the first Belgian to play Ryder Cup golf

Why is 3G his nickname?

He is from Gent, in Belgium.

Rumoured to be Gent's Greatest Golfer.
