Tikay- theres a really good EW race, 4:15 Lingfield today, a couple of lads fancy the jolly so we are going to try something different and lay the win part of our selection for a small loss and let the each way run.
£100ew Light Shine at 9-4. VC Hills
Lay £95 @3.7 the win on betfair.
Light Shine is 1.14 to place, we are getting 1.45.
The bet works out
If Light Shine wins the race, we win £13.50, if it comes 2nd or 3rd we win £36, if it finishes unplaced we lose £109
It will place 87.8% of the time and come 2nd or 3rd 60.7% of the time.
Free money
Follow the step by step instructions
What?
Now follow MY step-by-step instructions.
I get up at 5am & go to work.
I am approaching middle-age.
I tend my allotment every afternoon.
Please put up winners during the alotted time, not the allotment time.
I thank you.
PS - Thanks, & sigh. This week I have mainly been learning about adverse variance. Still I dodged that Max on Ian Bell.

MVG averaged 121.86 in a match today. Legs of 15,12,11,13,12,11. He also played 8 matches yesterday and had 7 100+ averages. I've had some more at 16s.

Spurs view...
We are likely without the ill Adebayor and the injured Dembele but I think there will be some rotation in both squads tonight. Our B team is significantly better than theirs.
The fans remember how rubbishly we played against Norwich last time but there is probably less pressure on the players away from home.
Last time we played at Carrow Road, it was one of the best performances I've ever seen spurs play but that's neither here nor there. A lot has changed on both sides.
Bale could start tonight and he is getting back to being unplayable, rather than wandering over the pitch thinking he's Gascoigne (not the commentator). Anytime goalscorer 28/11 with betfair.
An interesting bet might be laying the "both teams to score" bet. Norwich haven't exactly been prolific against us since they came up and a couple of rested players for the weekend's game might make it less likely they'll score. Our defence will have - if first choices are rested - Lloris, Dawson, Caulker.
6/4 with Hills and a few others.
Best bet is probably the most goals in the second half (Evs with most), as we've score the vast majority of our goals after half time.
Interested in views, as ever...

Did I not read somewhere that he potentially had a bad draw in the biggie?

any views please, and if so why?
Chelsea V Man Utd
Chelsea Lay, feel they have fucked up with this Referee thing and Utd will want this more.. Deffo dont think Chelsea can win in 90 mins
Norwich V Tottenham
No real reason Norwich Lay for me in 90 Minutes, but not sure how serious both teams will take game
Liverpool V Swansea
Layed Under 3.5 Goals in this game, and Lay Swansea in 90 minutes.. Think that Liv reserves have goals for them and against them and have a better chance of winning against a 2nd string Swansea side
Scottish Communities League Cup - Quarter-Final
Dundee Utd V Hearts
Fuck Knows..
Rangers V Inverness CT
Fuck Knows
I think my first ever view on this thread, I will learn tonight if I should remain as a non poster on the thread or not.. I'm finding that I am making more £ Laying teams in the football rather than the traditional Bets/Accumulators..
Flame away!!! or suggestions as Tikay would say
I'm interested in this "Fuck Knows". What price is that?
PS - Welcome aboard. Send money now.

He is just shy of £12k behind Hamilton in the Order of Merit with four Players Championship tournaments to play. Winner of each of those gets £6k. He has won 3 of the last 6 he probably needs to win 2 of the next 4 to leapfrog Hamilton. On current form that's not impossible. It looked doomed at the weekend when he got knocked out and the draw opened up for Hamilton to go deep but he lost in the next round so didn't lose much ground. So still a chance we could get in to the better half of the draw.

Rant time......I asked a friend of mine to bet a horse today for me with Hills for the Breeders Cup Turf. Not a big bet but 100 e/w at 13/2. They were top price but the rest of the board was painted 6/1 so not out of line and the race was not a bad each way race. He was offered nothing at the price and SP only. This isn't a seller at Catterick, it isn't a claimer on the allweather, it is a race with a prize pool of $1m+ and all of the horses are completely exposed and have raced in the biggest races at the biggest tracks in the world. If Hills can't take a bet of 100 e/w in that race what exactly can they take a bet on? I work in the industry, albeit for a firm that takes a proper bet, but this is embarrassing for everyone in the industry imo.
Was this in shop or online?
I am having numerous problems in store with getting bets on of that size in Hills, but online it is no problem at all for me personally.
Hills nowhere near the shop they was for racing a few years ago imo, also following Betfred down the route of "we have no money in shop".

Thanks Bazza. I'd like to say I understood every word, but in you I trust.

Daily Report as at 1845, Wednesday October 31st
Apologies for late report & general lack of attention, bit busy next door with a big fessie this week.
We lost £30 in the last 48 hours.
Two bets completed, both FGS, both lost.
So, the plunge into the financial abyss continues apace.
Ever optimistic, we have placed some juicy bets going forward, though I have not had time to Post them yet. (Includes that Jockey chap).

This, plus -1 @ 13/2, 2 Goals or more 13/8.
The Motherwell v The Rangers was a strange affair, Well had most of the Ball without creating much, having watched a few of their games since they have done pretty much the same in those.
The only postive that came out that game from a Betting perspective was The Rangers next opponents would be a good price and true to form they are.
ICT have scored in every game this Season and are on a good run, unbeaten in their last 7.
BTTS should be a stick on but it's 8/13.
