Notts County to beat Portsmouth this weekend 21/20 BetVictor £20 (for me, 2 unit bet rom a 5 unit bet max)

This is the only market price that does not have County odds on against a free-falling Pompey. Thought I had better hurry up, as I don't expect it to last.

County haven't been in great form, but since Appleton let for Blackpool Pompey are all over the place.

Thanks Rich.

The most minor of corrections to that - William Hill are also odds against, & a nadge better in fact @ 11/10. I'm assuming 11/10 beats 21/20.......

We have £20 @ 11/10, William Hill, Notts County to beat Portsmouth.

Aaron Lennon is 31/5 with betfair to score today anytime. This is a full point bigger than the field. Some bookies are 3/1!

The lad's in good form but that's neither here nor there, I suppose.

Imagine there's a little liquidity in the markets at 10am before a 12.45 kick off.

Any thoughts?

Price has gone, but price is about right on long run stats.  Given he is playing a bad side then you should probably knock a bit off the price.  So I think this was probably a good bet.  Is probably ok at 6.6 too?

SPLASH news.

We have Joey Essex @ 10/1, now generally 8/1 or 9/1 best.

The current favourite, at 9/2, is......

Little known fact, but be appeared on the winter wipeout celebrity edition.  He only won every round.  Clearly he is more athletic than you'd expect.

Obviously should have pointed this out before he was made favourite.

Daily Report as @ 1030, Saturday January 12th

We lost £20 yesterday, when a SUPER Overs became a SUPER Unders.

We've had a very quiet week so far, & been licking our wounds after we somehow messed up both League Cup Semi-Finals & in the process missed a lovely 13/2 winner.

Our India - England cricket bets got off to a mixed start, too, Bell doing well, we missed Tredders, & Pujara, the new kid on the block, seems to have got the wrong side of the Indian Cricket Old Boys Club. The next game is Tuesday.

BIG day today though, as the 49-ers play tonight, or more correctly, at 1.05 tomorrow morning.

We look like having a smattering of football bets today, though nothing big, & no doubt young hector will pop up a contrary Rugby Union bet shortly. Note that for those interested in the Harlequins game, at the Stoop (which, oddly, is barely 200 yards from Twickers Stadium) the weather is very cold, wet, & miserable.

would like to ask Hector's opinion, should he see it

Racing Metro v Saracens this afternoon

total points priced at 35ish

Should be over, should it not?

Farrell and Juan Hernandez two good kickers

Both teams need to win

Match being played at Nantes. Loire weather is 8-10c, rain clearing by kick off

Home game (in Brussels) was 30-13, is this really going to produce under 35 points?

I doubt it

thank you.

Using the theory that it is never too late to correct a mistake, I am now on Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards to win Splash.  I can confirm that I have never seen the show.  The best price available was 4/1, and that was only in 2 spots, including skybet.  The price beats Betfair, which is a good test, though the market is feeble.

Go on Eddie, take your winter wipeout form all the way to the final.

I was going to write a note to myself Mr T's. " Heineken cup betting. The next time I am thinking of betting overs in any match go and have a cup of coffee. If it still seems like a good idea eat some cake until the match is over".

I think regarding the Saracens game the mentality will be more we must not lose rather than we must win. I can see a game very similar to the Northampton game last night.

Certainly for me I will not be going on any overs until next seasons 1st round pool matches when the sun will be shining.

Suggestion here.

Oxford to beat Bradford away from home at 3/1. Oxford have won their last three games in the league, Bradford have lost 2 of their last three. Bradford will be coming down from their heroics against Villa too.

Thoughts?

Thanks Ant.

Decided to go the Nitty Route, I think 2/1 DNB works better on this occasion.

We have £20 @ 2/1, Corals, Oxford v Bradford, Oxford, DNB.

A little piece on Kap's tattoos. Hadn't realised they had drawn such criticism in the States. Here, it's rare to see a footballer without them. Beckham has loads, too.

And then there's Jade Dernbach:
