On the Villa thing Keith mentioned where there is a discrepancy between two markets I would generally assume that the one with the most liquidity is the most likely to be right which in this case would be the game market so I would suggest it is the Villa relegation price that is wrong.  Efficient market hypothesis innit!!!

I was tempted to think the Villa price was wrong

Obviously they are playing 9-10 players 23 or under, currently

which experienced players have they got to come back in?

is Lerner really not going to give Lambert the funds to stiffen the squad?

If we leave aside QPR and Reading, and call the third relegation spot a match bet Wigan, Villa and SOuthampton, would we have Villa highest price of those three? Not sure I would...

First Goalscorer markets. 3rd in prem v bottom. Two strikers for the 3rd placed team are 11/2 and 13/2. Seems generous to me.

I have a tickle on Defoe.

Ta, gone for the other one just because the price was a bit higher.   Spurs at almost evens is ok too surely?

FFS!

Sorry, to me, yes, Graham. Although I trust the price is on the money.

Isn't that kinda the point though?  That assumption that they are too good to go down because they are Villa.  Despite what I wrote I actually do think they are being slightly underrated in the match markets at the moment and it has cost me plenty but they may be overpriced again today.

Big day for me, I have ante post tickets for Bazzaboys Ashton bet at 6/1 and am holding my own bets O'Shea ew at 16s and Waites at 10/3. Think I might back Harms and be a pussy

Throw in my max ever NFL bet courtesy of Camel and it's quite exciting.

Gl all Fred 49ers and Ashtons

Yep I'm in the Niners/Ashton camp, too.

I just noticed the missed Treadwell bet from ghurkin Tikay.  Did you not have a policy of running with first time posters bets as a "welcome to the thread" sort of thing at one time? He went against Everyman and his dog in saying Pujara would not play too

Yes, we do, or we try to, providing they are not plain daft.

In the same recommend, gherkhin also suggsted we bet Ian Bell as "good value", & we did. The weight of opinion suggested that maybe Tredwell was correctly priced, whereas Bell was good or better value, so we decided to choose that one of his two suggestions. It is, of course, quite easy to be wise after the event though we tend to avoid that sort of thing. None of the suggestions or bets have won or lost yet though, it is a 5 match series & one match has been completed.

We also warmly welcomed him to the thread & congratulated him on being our 100th different Tipster to have a bet accepted since the thread bergan.

All parties knew that Pujara was not certain to play the first game, & we placed the bets knowing that. gherkhin then Posted the Link where it was confirmed Pujara was unlikely to play.  Which was AFTER we placed the 2 bets on Pujara.

oh cool. Was not after timing just could not see it and just wondered if you still had the first post rule in place.

One more for snowy, in case he tries to resist clicking that link.

This is the Main Stand at the ground of Brimscombe & Thrupp. Obviously. Look, it even has two loudspeakers. One for each fan.

I'm already on it, my favourite so far

^^^^

I would call that "twee".

Perfectly splendid.

Proper dugouts, too, none of those bloody car seat monstrosities.
