Wouldn't worry too much, none of O'Brien's are well fancied. Chompy's bet is still a very good one.

Not sure if this has been discussed yet but Ladbrokes have an offer on the 2000 Guineas tomorrow. If 15/8 fav Dawn Approach wins they will refund all bets as
free bets
upto the value of £25. Its available to all customers, but only on the first bet you place on this race(e.g. you cant back all the runners). T+Cs are on their website, but all seem fair enough.
They are 2/1 Toronado, currently 3.05 on betfair. Ive havent done the maths on this but reckon this is a fairly solid selection. Front page of the racing post, shows Hughes stating it could be the best its ever ridden and that he expects to win. I actually wouldnt be suprised to see if go off fav.
So I think £25 on Toronado at 2/1 to win the 2000 Guineas(3.50 Newmarket) is a fair investment with Laddies.
Thank you - confirmation below.

Thank you very much Everton Bloke. You must be very pleased with Mr Moyes & Co once again?
Will look at that 2000 Guineas freebie later this evening.
Maths is going to be fairly compelling on this.
As in "we should get on"?
Definitely
I think you should put that free BetVictor £25 bet on George Vancouver in the 2000 Guineas. He ran some decent races last year, including winning the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf. That race doesn't take as much to win as you may think by the title but still a solid performance. He was beaten quite convincingly by Dawn Approach in the Dewhurst finishing 3 lengths back in 3rd and placed in another two Group 1s. The thing that caught my eye was that it ran its best race on firm.
He isn't quite up there with the best on last year's form, but at 18s you can beat Betfair and it is the kind of price that is very good for a free bet.
Suggest £25 free bet on George Vancouver on the nose at 18/1 with BetVictor in tomorrow's 2000 Guineas.
For those that don't have a free bet, because of the shape of tomorrow's race, he is also a good each way proposition (free bets should always be win only). I have done this myself.
Confirmed.

Morning Mr T.
Rugby union today, and if it wins maybe a league bet too.
London Welsh, already relegated, host Worcester in a game that doesn't matter. Worcester are favourites for this match and shouldn't be. They have not won away from home all year and I believe that pride and home advantage will enable London Welsh to win this game. It takes a huge physical effort to win rugby matches and having the support of your home crowd is a massive advantage and the Welsh have so far beaten Exeter, London Irish and Bath at home. Worcester will already be looking forward to a summer on the beach so an investment on the Welsh could pay off.
Suggest £20 London Welsh @ 6/4 with Sportingbet.

The Fred Spready
Please note the Spreadsheet now has a new feature - in the far right column, there is now a direct link to the original bet on this thread, to enable viewers to instantly see, via the link, the original suggestion.
This was my completely idea, & required some serious coding, which I wrote myself. I then had to teach Mere how to incorporate it on the sheet. As he is so atrabilious by nature, this was not easy, but he got it eventually.

Morning hector.
Big thank you for that Widnes bet last night, 7/1, very nice! I sense you never suggested it for Fred because of that 84-6 affair a while back, but you should not worry about the odd setback, when we back rank outsiders of two we must expect those things to happen.
Am surprised that Worcester even has a beach, but I live & learn.
I gather that the Stadium of your beloved Exteter Rugby Club will be among those used for the Rugby World Cup - you must be pretty pleased about that, yes?
Anyway.....
We have £20 @ 6/4, Sporting Bet, London Welsh to whop Worcester.

It was a bit of a slam dunk really as the people of the SW are so passionate about their rugby union. I can't say that Exeter are much beloved by me as they have always been the great rivals of Plymouth in both football and rugby. However as I have matured I am able to look at things more dispassionately and I have to admire what they have achieved and they do seem to have old school values. I played against their current coach and to put it politely he was certainly a feisty player.

Daily Summary, 0955, Saturday May 4th
I had to search for the blue font yesterday for what seems the first time in ages, as we notched up a £26 profit on the day.
A Rugby League bet went south, when be backed the wrong one of two offered, but Tighty gave us a really incredible bet on the Local Elections which won hard-held for a £50 profit, giving us £26 nett profit on the day. There was only one downside to that bet.
