Derek Lyle scores his second hattrick in the space of ten minutes for Queen of the South against Annan Athletic.

I think someone at Opta might have fallen asleep with their nose on the keyboard.

When I grow up I wanna be like Chompy, excellent tippage, great reports, takes all stick as it's meant, and manages to use the word tiddlearsing in every post. What's not to like?

deffo this

All Chompy's bets should be insta bets, just gets shit done. (even BB)

Kalmar finished 1-0 so a push although we got lucky with a last minute goal and the market moved against us late so not sure how great a bet it was in the end.

Spurs start with Livermore and Fryers as the centre backs. Hopefully, Falcao doesn't fancy it today.

No Assou-Ekotto in the squad. Coentrao on the way?

Rugby League - Bet Suggestion

One for Hector to consider - as the bet includes Hull KR versus Wigan.

Tonight Wigan host Hull KR, and there's zero chance that there'll be a one-sided demolition that Wigan dished out earlier in the season at Craven Park - ending in a score of 6-84.

I still expect a strong(ish) Wigan side to win, but the question is how close will it be?

Wigan Warriors 19 Man Squad
Joe Burgess, Josh Charnley, Dom Crosby, Ben Flower, Anthony Gelling, Darrell Goulding, Blake Green, Harrison Hansen, Jack Hughes, Epalahame Lauaki, Michael McIlorum, Lee Mossop, Sean O'Loughlin, Sam Powell, Matty Smith, Scott Taylor, Logan Tomkins, Sam Tomkins, Chris Tuson.

Hull KR 19 man squad
Liam Salter, Jason Netherton, Adam Walker, Sean Gleeson, Evarn Tuimavave, Jordan Cox, Con Mika, Travis Burns, Keal Carlile, Rich Beaumont, Craig Hall, Mickey Paea, David Hodgson, Rhys Lovegrove, Michael Dobson, Lincoln Withers, Greg Eden, Tyla Hepi, Josh Hodgson.

No Pat Richards in the Wigan squad, and no Liam Farrell - both being rested (and quite rightly).  This does mean that there's no recognised goal-kicker in the side, and so these duties will fall to Charnley, Smith or Sam Tomkins.  None of them are exactly prolific at goal-kicking, and this could restrict the points tally - even if Wigan are dominant and scoring tries.  Rovers have Dobson in their side, who is pivotal to them doing well, and also will score points.

The odds are evens for Hull KR +20, and 2/1 for Hull KR +12 points.  The evens bet at +20 seems like a more sensible bet?  Wigan, like Warrington, are 'flat-track bullies' and will put up a cricket score against sides that are poor.  But against a decent side, they tend to struggle a bit and they usually end up close affairs.

Hull KR have won 5 out of their last 6 matches, and were on a good run of form until they lost 34-6 at Warrington.  It was 12-6 at half-time, but then Hull KR fell to pieces and were given a lesson by Warrington.
Wigan on the other hand have seen a dip in form (with absences of key players such as O'Loughlin and Sam Tomkins, who are both back in the side and play tonight) in the league, and the games they've won recently have been very close - and were lucky to come away with the points against Bradford.

Wigan need to win their remaining games in the league to be assured of top spot (the match next week against Huddersfield being crucial, obviously) and also have the small distraction of the Challenge Cup final on the 24th.  So the players will be keen to shine before then, but Wane will also be looking to keep his players out of trouble and if Wigan are going well in the game I think we'll see them step off the gas a little rather than try to drill Rovers into the ground.

Thoughts on the evens bet for Rovers to shade it with a 20pt start?

Sam Tomkins NOT playing, late withdrawal.

Was a reason to get on the bet and then some.

I'm guessing we didn't get on this bet?

No, I was waiting for you to confirm, truly.

One of those things, it happens. Hope you were on nicely.

'Tiddlearsing', copyright 'Evil' Edna Adams.

I'd like to use it again now re: the bet on Grant Holt to score first @ 10-1. £5? Seen guys carrying cans of special brew in one hand and a Lidl shopping bag in the other bet harder than that.

Ulul that he scored second, nice bet though.

This move on Sam for BB beats me. He's the only threat to Queen Gina but this is a weak market now and there was no Sam love on BOTS again last night. Gina is almost becoming backable again.

Gogogogo Nicky Nacky and Assombalongalonga! Good start for Poshies, never really out of second gear against a pretty but toothless Swindon. We'll smash a few teams around this season.

I was on it a bit (don't risk too much on sports betting as I know I'm a punter).  Was away last night, so only watched the match today when I got back.  Stuttering performance from Wigan, might have pushed the bet closer if O'Loughlin hadn't gone off with an injury.

For Tighty.
