Tottenham's new £26m striker was flown straight to London from España by the most expensive airline Daniel Levy was prepared to pay for a seat on.
Meanwhile, Kevin Pietersen is flailing his bat like he's trying to kill a wasp after a few bevvies. Quite right. Don't want any of that 'knuckling down and trying to build an innings to ensure we retain the Ashes' nonsense. Hang on...

Watching Mark your Card on Racing Channel and it probably sums me up this week...

You don't know how close to the truth that is....in the late 90's when I worked for VC ENIC were trying to buy the firm and DL was in Gibraltar and I shared a flight back with him. He flew both ways on Monarch and got the train and tube home at the other end. Quite impressive given he had a private jet at his beck and call at the time.

Australia 2.68 on Betfair. Draw 1.66
Should they not be a bit closer together? I understand the Aussies haven't looked like skittling us out, but I'm not hugely confident of us making the follow on and, suddenly, the save becomes a lot tougher.

In Levy we trust.

Weather forecast poor next two days
but 2.68 is too big. England are probably bowled out today, then follow on.
Then enough play over Sun/Mon to win it
Would make it Australia win favourite myself

Wigan's game today. Grant Holt is 10/1 FGS at Lads yet best 11/2 anywhere else. Value?

Not wishing to cause a stir, but I couldn't help but notice that Fred's Big Brother nest egg is no longer odds on.
She and someone called Sam are pretty much both 2.3 on Betfair.
Is Chompy proposing a reinvestment?

Not for the first time.
He'll get 103, get out and we'll still lose the test, rather than batting all day on a good pitch, getting us past 450 and effectively killing the game off with a steady double ton.
