If Camel can recommend Everton for the title, Mt Ben for the King George seems like a walk in the park.

Slower ground should help his suspect jumping, and I think this will be his Gold Cup as he dont jump left handed.

Morning Adz, & MC to you & yours.

To clarify, are you suggesting we have a tickle on Mount Benbulben?

The market is here......

http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/2013-12-26-kempton/15:10/winner

Go on then.

Im quite wary of the Betfair form, and with Tizzard horses very quiet, I am happy to take on Cue Card. At stages during the Betfair I expected both Dynaste and S Conti to go past Cue Card, but didn't.

I want to be with two horses.

I recall Ruby Walsh getting off Al Ferof after winning the Paddy Power last year and stating he had never sat on a horse that was so tailor made for the KG. His pedigree suggests he will improve over the distance and he remains unexposed but very classy.

Mount Benbullen jumps to the right and because of that his three chances for big pots are Down Royal(where he was running a belter until coming down 3 /4 out)The KG, and Punchestown.
As a suspect jumper the heavy slower ground at Kempton will give him more time at his fences, and I suspect/hope that will see him fulfill his potential. I'm not too concerned about his rating because if he had won at DR last time it would look a whole lot better, and his price would be shorter.

In short, this is Mt Benbullens Gold Cup.

£20 win Al Ferof @4-1

£10 ew Mt Benbullen @16s Coral

I wouldn't put anyone off backing the straight forecast given Adzy's last tip ... and his current form. Hope everyone had a happy Xmas.

Happy Christmas all.
I'm in Tbilisi and I was hoping to play poker on Christmas day but the Adjara had no cash games running. None expected for tomorrow either.
Does anyone know any other poker clubs in Tbilisi?
I just lost my balls playing roulette whilst my mate who 'always wins at roulette' thinks I'm an idiot for not studiously following the numbers on the board. I also have a headache from the gank beer they serve. At least you can smoke at the tables:)

Morning all, including those with sore heads, & those who have been up all night watching England destroy Australia in the third Test.

For those interested, the Big Bash Cricket between Melbourne whatsits & Perth whatsits is live on Sky Sports 3 now. The match commences at 0830am, UK time - so, in the next few minutes.

Fred has an interest or two, including Marsh, "Top Perth Batter" in this match.

After a brief peruse of cricinfo this morning, I now realise that Perth have two batsmen with the surname "Marsh".

This has the makings of one of the greatest misclicks ever.

If you can get the £25 with hills mobile on Cue Card at 4/1 would be good

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

News has filtered through that Fred IS on the correct Marsh, we are on Shaun - not Mike, or even Mitchell......

Obviously we need to get the names correct, as bets on Marsh are binding.

Thanks Doobs, am about to start tying to sort all the KG stuff out.

Think we have 11 tipsters & 13 selections for a 9 runner race so far. My head spinneth.

Hills current price for Cue Card is now 7/2. As you originally suggested we get on at 100/30, I've taken the 7/2, as with the Offer added, it cannot be a mile off. I hope.

Details of the 3 Mobile bets shortly.

Please be aware that Tighty is currently indisposed, & I'm not sure how long this will be, hopefully only a day or two, but it's unclear at present.

Mere will be updating the Spready in the interim, though it may not be in real time, so it may not always be 100% up to date.

I'll have to decide what to do about the Daily Reports later today (no need for one today), once I know the position better. I will not be able to do it tomorrow, as I'm offline most of the day, but either we go without, or I'll ask someone to stand in for Tighty with a mini version.

William Hill mobile £25s.

2.00 Kempton.  Just a Par at 8/13 is best price and obvious.
2.35 Kempton.  My Tent or Yours 11/10.  I feel this is likely to suit him better than The New One.  Track is sharp and this one looks more a speed horse than The New One.  Champion Hurdle would definitely go for The New One if the prices were this close.  You could back either, this race is just ideal for the offer.
3.10 Kempton.  Maybe a bit controversial, and if we hadn't backed Al Ferof already I may have leaned that way.  Cue Card is 100/30.  He is 9 lbs clear on Timeform and while that may be too much, he absolutely should be top rated.   Turfrax has the ground as soft, I was expecting bottomless.  If it isn't bottomless in the first race, I think we should definitely just chance him in this race at 100/30.  Suggest hold fire and see how the first race goes with the aim of backing Cue Card if it doesn't look too bad.  I may not be able to post at the time, but hopefully someone else can bump.  Of course if it is bottomless forget this bet.

Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you, too.

We are on.....

Just A Par @ 4/7

My Tent or Yours @ 11/10

Cue Card @ 7/2.

All for £25 with WH Mobile, Money back as Free Bet if 2nd.

We probably missed a nadge of price with Just A Par & MTOY, sorry, but a bit rushed here.

We went with MTOY rather than The New One (as per Aaron) as it seems to be a coin flip, but either or both seem to be much the same thing, given the concession.

Our man Shaun Marsh is out. He's the current top scorer with 31. Brother Mitch is the biggest threat, currently on 10.

Thanks, we need some brotherly love then.

Mitch is out for a lot less than 31. Seems a real tricky wicket to bat on
