Everyone likes seeing United lose at home, so let's all bask in that fora few moments more.

I used to be sanguine about our defeats by sides like Liverpool, Tottingham, Newcastle et al on the basis that beating us would be the highlight of their year. Doesn't feel the same this year.

Perhaps the balance of your team isn't quite right

Brentford win. Nice one Chompy.
Oi oi!
I recced a 'chunk'.
Flying start to the year!
Exactly, I actually bet a double chunk, £25. Fearless.
Good shout. Did you go to the game? Are Brentford as good as their recent results seem to suggest?
They missed a penalty and Donaldinho hit the post, but basically just eased past a Poshies side in disarray. It's the end of an era at London Road, think Fergie could be off before long. Might be time for a change anyway. League One is an awful standard compared to the Champ and the Bees are easily the best of a bad bunch.
Didn't realise you'd gone for the full chunk, a pony at 9/5. Like a modern-day Alex Bird. Boom!
Get those accounts loaded up for Friday. Chances are we're gonna be hiting Celeb BB hard on opening night.

Michael Smith 66/1 for next year's PDC in three places and 70/1 with Bet365.
Never heared of 70/1 before. Was hoping for a hundo but it's looking unlikely. Reminds me a lot of Adrian Lewis, and a bit of Robert Lewandowski.
If he can find a shirt that fits before next year he'll go well imo.

I'd bet against newcastle at the best price possible to lose next league match vs city.
Colocini and debuchy are both out and both very important to us. Our team does well against teams with weak midfields but against powerful midfields we struggle and it will be like men vs boys I assume.
Remy is also awful and I'm sure the bookies way overrate him and whatever system they use will give more significance to his two goals last week, than it should do, he was really really bad.
Right now city are 8/11

Lloris, Walker, Chiriches, Dawson, Rose, Lennon, Capoue, Dembele, Eriksen, Soldado, Adebayor
rooney playing and with that line up suspect overs will be on the way in
Rooney FGS with Paddy Power at 4/1 as much as they let you is the bet I think. It is 9/2 best, but we get money back if it finishes a draw.
We got on, but were brutally restricted.
BET PLACED
For the records, the brutal Restriction was £3.45, but it worked in our favour.

£800 recommended wasn't it?
No no no, he suggested "a chunk".
A Chunk is £10, a Double Chunk £20, so we really pushed the boat out with this one, £25 is serious money.

Get the Max button out everyone (well they max you at £50).
A week or so ago Perri Kiely posted this picture on his twitter account
In amongst 14 other celebrities falling off the high board and just about getting in the water head first, this kid has clearly got game.
There is nothing else to it, he doesn't need 2 million twitter followers, he doesn't need to look sexy in a swimsuit, he just needs to dive way better than the others.
Hills opened up at 5/2 it went, they went 2/1 they took the market down. It keeps popping up at 6/4 and then disappearing. Nobody else is offering a market except Betfair. I think that means our hope of getting on at something bigger by Saturday is over, and the Betfair price is likely to correct Hills, so time for everyone else to get on.
Good luck getting on.
And happy new year to Joe.
Thanks Doobs.
For the first time ever, Wm Hill Restricted me, but we got the max allowed, £50, so not so bad really.
The Market seems to have been removed overnight, except for an illiquid 20/21 on Betfair, but I fancy we have a very good bet indeed here.

Southwell again tommorow....
Nothing like as good a card but like two in the 2.00 and gives Tikay an excuse to use his fav website
MASAI MOON 12-1 Coral best fresh so long break no concern, been dropped 4lbs for a perfectly fair run over c + d when last seen only worry is now 10 and might not have the legs to win this, often well backed late be surprised if this starts 10-1+
CALDERCRUIX put this up last time didnt run very well, can forgive that though this is easier than he usual faces around here and even 80% of his best would be enough to at least go close in this again Coral this time 14-1
Suggest £10 win on both
And promise no more Southwell bets for a while
"
favourite website
" indeed.....
Bit of a
faux paus
here I'm afraid, in the misclickage department.
I placed both bets with Corals at the Recommended prices. Or thought I did......
When I was closing down my tabs last night, the Coral site was still showing "CONFIRM BET", so I checked "OPEN BETS" & it seems I had not placed either bet.
They were still offering 12/1 MASAI MOON, so I took that, no problem. But they had removed (removed, not cut) the price for CALDERCRUIX. Anyway, the best price then available was 12/1 (rec'd @ 14/1) with BMU, so I took that. So we missed a nadge of value on that one.
Anyway, according to Oddschecker, MASAI MOON remains available at 12/1 in places, but CALDERCRUIX is now 10/1 best, so at least we are the right side of it.

I am unavailable on Friday, but might just be able to manage half a chunk.

Thanks Patrick, & 8/11 remains available.
It's a pretty straightforward bet really, Man C are auto-favourites v Newcastle anyway, but the thing we look for is
value
.
Is 8/11 value? What is the correct price for the team in 2nd at home to the team in 8th?
