No interest in 4/6 shots myself. Any value in Hibs scoring 3.5+ @ 10/1? Just for a TV sweat like.

Afternoon Fred,

Can I suggest that we back Hibernian in tonights Edinburgh Derby?  Everyone knows the problems Hearts have had and although its a derby I just don't see how Hibs are only 4/6 with Betfair.  I genuinley made this a 2/5 shot today.

Even the most ardent or Hearts fan can't be expecting anything other than a thrashing today.

Since Terry Butcher has taken over at Hibs he has solidified the defence and has them playing much more compact.  They have conceded only 2 goals in 7 games in charge one of which was against Celtic who you would expected to have won.  There have been 3 clean sheets in the last 3 games whilst scoring 5 goals.  Hearts on the otherhand are in tota dissaray as we all know.  In the same period since Terry has taken over at Hearts they have conceded 22 goals and scoring just 4 themselves.  The only positive I can find for Hearts is they have Ryan Stevenson back for tonights clash but at best he's an average SPL player.

In addition to the obvious this Hearts team seems to suffer from an element of indiscipline and I put this down to a combination of having such a young squad, some of the players put themselves about more than they normally would and this is due to wanting to show their level of committment and the experienced players they have are trying to lead by example and in a team devoid of creativity and attacking player this means sticking the boot in.  I wouldn't expect Hearts to finish the game with 11 players on the park.  I really see this as men against boys, organisation v dissaray, tactical nounce against tactical naievity.

For me this is a maximum bet all day, everyday and twice on a Thursday.  I sincerely doubt I have been more confident in every placing a football bet in an SPL market before.

I suggest for thread purposes though we have £120 @ 4/6 with Laddies which is a standout and no commission.

For those that like betting on cards in a match I'm in love with Hearts at 4/7 to win that there has been nothing matched on Betfair as of yet but I would think Hearts should be a 1/2 shot.

Hibs were 1.8 on the William Hill coupon up until lunchtime. The arbers were out in force.

Dam my 2 day hangover.

I still wouldn't let this put anyone off though. I wouldn't be surprised if Hibs are closer to 1.6 at kick off.

I wouldn't put you off, Hbs aren't as prolific in front of goal as they were when they had Lee Grffiths in the team last season but Hearts are a team very low in confidence and if Hibs score early it could be 3/4 or 5.

Hibs 1.66 back /1.67 lay on Betfair

Pinnacle 1.671 Hibs , no commission

2.17 on AH -1 might be good if you like them.

That was my next stop, usually Hills keep the price on Sky games, what have they cut them to?

Sorry, it is still 4/5. One shop showed me a screen where it was 4/6 but that was either wrong or they put the price back up.

4/7 when i posted Lads were the standout price on odds checker they were even beating Betfair.

I have been reading a few Scottish football forums and the Hearts fans don't seem to fancy it, they are clinging to the fact that its a derby and anything can happen.

Personally I am for a better phrase "baw deep" in this now.  I have more money on Hibs than I probably should have, I have also bet overs in the bookings and I have bet a red card also.  The referee for todays match is a funny one imo, Bobby Madden is a poor official, but that accusation could be aimed at most in Scotland regardless of who you support.  There are games were he is card happy and there are times were a player could commit assault and he will keep his cards in his pocket.  I am thinking that as its a TV game he may well want to be the centre of attention and go card happy, plus as mentioned previously there seems to be an issue with discipline in this Hearts team.

I've got more on than I should have as well. Pete did 24 shops this morning and I was going to lay it off on Betfair until I saw your post. Then I decided to let it ride.
