Daily Report

Profit on Month £390.29

Outstanding Bets £2998.95

Free Bets to use £15 Betfred

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=25

A profit of £37 yesterday with Niemenen beating Tursonov at Queens as an over 5/2 underdog

the free bet on Hewitt lost, as he was beaten by a seed in straight sets

longer term positions

- Essex chased 190 to beat Kent in a terrific T20 game last night. Bopara 81 off 44 balls the key. Essex a seriously good team, won four in a row chasing and now have their next five games at Chelmsford, sitting 2nd in the South table http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/english-twenty20/table

- Derbyshire beat Leicestershire by 9 wickets in LVCC2 to ignite their charge up the table (possibly)

- In baseball I know you will all share my excitement at the Royals 4-1 victory over the Indians. Behind pitcher Yohan Ventura, below, the Royals win 5 of 7 on their homestand, improve to 33-32 on the year and with the Division leading Tigers losing last night the Royals are a bit closer and finally showing the form we had hoped

- in more good news the Orioles beat the Red Sox 6-0 and with the division leading blue jays losing are closer to the AL East lead. I know, exciting!

- the Yankees beat Seattle last night to go 33-31. 162 game season so we've played 39.5% of the games. the bet needs under 87 wins or under 53% win rate and the run rate is currently 51.5%

Today is the big day. No news yet, but i would expect the zebra to be 12th man

the pitch is looking quite green

also today...

oh, and i wonder what will kick off this time?

hopefully this, for us tonight

My long shot bets that I would like you to add to the world cup list...I posted it a few weeks ago on The World Cup thread after The Ecuador Match

I noticed tonight that Cahill and Jagielka went up for every corner/set piece and obv both scored

England are in a difficult group D and are favourites with the bookies not to progress so if that is the case they would only play 3 games so an odd goal could decide the Top England goalscorer market .

Historically these markets have quite often resulted in dead / joint dead heats so with our two first choice centre halves priced at 40 and 80-1 respectively they could be worth a small punt at fancy prices.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/world-cup/england/top-goalscorer

Seen as though I dont post on here often I would like you to bet

£20 Cahill @40-1   and  £20 Jags @80-1  Top England Goalscorer

any other opinions on this

personally, i really struggle with thinking either are "value"

needs a perfect storm of events

- england go out
- england score very few goals only
- and even then you are possibly only hoping for a dead heat
- we're assuming both go up for corners
- there won't be too many corners in the manaus game anyway?

that said, cahill has 3 in 24 caps, and is a 1 in 10 man over 330 club games

Jagielka has 2 in 26 caps and is a 1 goal in 15 man over 550 club games

personally, i think i'd be wanting better than 40 or 80-1 over a 3-5 game stretch which is what this will be

but if the thread wants the bets on, i will put them on

see what the consensus suggests...

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/world-cup/highest-rated-player-settled-using-whoscored-com

Good to see this market

It is quite easy to see the historic ratings players get in the big 4 leagues (epl,la liga, bundesliga and serie a)

Obviously these are club ratings but players will play generally in a similar way and if they are earning points via whoscored by the way they play then they should for the country as well.

It is hardly an appealing each way heat so i suggest 3 small win bets, 1 slightly bigger bet and a small saver.

£10 win on the following

Yohan Cabaye 66-1 either firm. Always fared well on the ratings when at newcastle and still does for Psg, looks certain to play all/most games.

Juan Guillermo Cuadrado 50-1 vcbet. Top of Serie A over the whole season looks certain to play all of Colombia's games big price.

Ivan Rakitic 50-1 lads. Will play all games rates highly in la liga ratings.

£20 on the following

Alexis Sanchez 80-1 lads. Very big price despite a lot not thinking he is brilliant for Barca a constant top 10 force for Barca in the la liga ratings. Given he plays better/ is used more for Chile hard to see him not doing at least as well.

and the saver is very obvious

£5 Messi 10-1 vcbet. Always clear in La Liga if Argentina get to the semis and play well i am certain he will be there or close.

Players must play in at least two world cup games to count towards the bet, despite the element of randomness over two appearances that should be eliminated to a degree.

I had an original "shortlist" of at least 10 very hard to narrow down and i have come up with the four bets left mainly due to price and the fact they appear very likely to be key players for their nations.

how does the scoring work for whoscored? what are we looking for?

for any player the game ratings averages out over all their games to give a composite score, and the highest wins the market?

Don't often get involved in Big Bruv eviction markets but...

£60 on Tamara to get the boot this week, 5/6 BMU.

Tamara Stewart-Wood (63%, 1,297 Votes)
Danielle McMahon (29%, 592 Votes)
Jale Karaturp (8%, 159 Votes)
Total Voters: 2,048

It's normally a non-entity that goes in week 1 and Danielle has way too much about her you'd hope. The public normally gets these things right.

Morning Mr T2.

I was glad to see you had noticed what a nice grass court game Matosevic played in beating Cilic. It reminded me of watching Nastase and Gerrulitis playing. Today he is up against Tsonga and having watched the first set Tsonga played yesterday against Goffin, I think that Matosevic is a decent bet to win. Tsonga was troubled by Goffins range of shot and only looked comfortable when he was in power baseline rallies. At odds of over 3-1 I really like the Matosevic bet.

Suggest £20 Matosevic to beat Tsonga @ 7/2 with Betfair.
