In tonight's boxing the Anthony Joshua vs Matt Skelton bout looks of interest.
Last time the bookies got caught out by a twitter mass gamble on AJ to win by round 1 KO against a mediocre opponent. This time he's facing a better opponent and they opened up round 1 KO on the short side at 5/6 which is now on the drift after some 2.28/2.3 being traded on Betfair. Current Ladbrokes prices on rounds 2 and 3 beat the to lay prices on Betfair.
The fight should be similar in style to Skelton vs another big man in David Price who Skelton smothered for the 1st round before getting exposed and KO'd in the 2nd round.
Rec we dutch £10.5 on AJ round 2 KO @6-1 and £15 on AJ grouped rounds 3&4 @4-1 with (both with Ladbrokes). We're staking £25.50 for a profit of £27.

Greyhound Derby finalist Mind The Net runs in Dundalk tonight in the International Open:
http://www.racingpost.com/greyhounds/card.sd#resultDay=2014-07-12&raceId=1305314
On paper, looks a tough race to call, but I'm still surprised by the 7/2 price quoted in the racing post. I also can't seem to find a bookie with a market for it (including Spoylesports, given trap five is called Boylesports Hero - a reference to the guy who lurks on Fred?) The only wide runner and, for me, if it nods the first bend, it must have a chance.
Betfair has a market with barely a shiny sixpence in it. If 7/2 or greater is available, would this not warrant a bet?

Alcoba loses
Still, Bet365's 13.0 was way out of line with everyone else, so it was a good spot. Commentators were saying how much he was under-rated and that the match-up was '50/50'.
Plus you could have laid back Alcoba during the fight at 6.0 for a freeroll ;-)

It's time for Tips for Tikays first venture into E-sports.
Bet365>Specials>World>E-sports LOL.
12/07 - Counter Logic Gaming vs Team SoloMid.
Back Counter Logic Gaming at 10/11. Best team in North America but Team SoloMid are huge fav favourites. Team SoloMid are still gelling as a team. Counter Logic are also on red side and have first choice of champion.
£20 should be fine.
1.971 on Pinnacle.
Pinnacle>Esports>League of Legends>Championship Series.
Coming up next, CLG vs TSM.

Good luck, I missed this first time round. Tikay doesn't have a Pinny account but plenty of people in the thread will.

I would like to see an analysis of what you need to play Hoylake well, who fits on their 2014 stats, any course form etc etc in addition to bets, mainly, on offer attractiveness/price relative to betfair
to give a range of "types of bets" for next week, in addition to sub-market stuff that might come on top player from a region, who will win a three ball, top senior etc etc that are always good to find
Here is a breakdown of who has played "well" in the last 9 opens. The criteria for "played well" is that
more than 50% of their rounds have been
at least 2 strokes better than average in the first two rounds or
at least 1 stroke better than average in the last two rounds
Player Rounds "Good Rounds" %
Dustin Johnson 18 12 0.67
Ernie Els 32 21 0.66
Tiger Woods 26 17 0.65
Rickie Fowler 14 9 0.64
Gary Woodland 8 5 0.63
Adam Scott 34 20 0.59
Steve Stricker 24 14 0.58
Jim Furyk 30 17 0.57
Nick Watney 20 11 0.55
Darren Clarke 26 14 0.54
Phil Mickelson 28 15 0.54
Lee Westwood 32 17 0.53
Sergio Garcia 34 18 0.53
Brandt Snedeker 14 7 0.50
Chris Wood 14 7 0.50
Freddie Jacobson 24 12 0.50
George Coetzee 10 5 0.50
Hunter Mahan 26 13 0.50
Ian Poulter 30 15 0.50
Justin Rose 22 11 0.50
Louis Oosthuizen 16 8 0.50
Luke Donald 28 14 0.50
Martin Kaymer 22 11 0.50
Miguel Jimenez 34 17 0.50
Ryan Moore 14 7 0.50
Shane Lowry 8 4 0.50
Obviously just one aspect but at least something to discuss....
Great work, that gives us some pointers, thank you.
