Jeez, Neil must have tipped up loads of winners on here and I've missed every single one of them!

Now McCoy is the leading jockey and on course to be the first to win 300 in a season is 100/1 for Sporty something we should be on, especially since he's come third twice?

He won it a few years ago.

And been third twice which is why I thought the 100/1 might be interesting, E/W obviously.

Made a right balls up of that post.

In the next at Curragh, 5.10 runs Newsletter, who is third fav in a small 6f race.

Newsletter and Tiggy Wiggy were the only two to make a race of it with Anthem Alexander in the Queen Mary at RA.

Up a furlong but in view of the form shown earlier by TW in winning the Sprint, 5/2 seems worth chancing.

Is rory value at 1/5 on bf?  Are the once a year punters just greening up and forcing the price too big or are all the fixed odds firms just seen enough and only willing to go 1/25 (lads) 1/16 (365) 1/12 (hills) 1/10 bald.  Coral are top on oddschecker at 1/8 on their own.

Very much so.

The best player in the world 6 ahead of the field headed by 3 people that almost don't want to win a major.

The question was "is he value". I hope he does blow it, for my own portfolio, but it does look value.

Rory decent arb at mo. 2/1 for sports personality with lads and some1 wanting a chunk on machine at 2.5.

Personally would just back him at 2's rather than arb it as I wouldn't want to tie up cash so long on betfair.

Thanks Nico

£125 max in shops

Difficult for the staff to find the bet on callover

i agree total value at 1/5 i was just offering my opinion why his price is bigger than you would expect punters looking for another blow up

but i dont think he is the same golfer now he has won 2 majors since and it wont phase him as much

would love to see his price for spotty now he has to be one of the favourites now

edit just seen nicos post above

Utterly ridiculous. If the horse doesn't have the right shoes on, don't let it run. Don't delay the race for half an hour to get it re-shod. Farcical.

Listen won't be happy. He has sixteen of the eleven runners in this.

Almost as ridiculous as not showing the race at lingfield while we wait.

McIlroy's dad and friends put a bet of £400 at 500-1 on Rory winning the open before the age of 25,, placed when he was a kid

this is the last year the bet is valid

Rory was asked about this today and confirmed it is true

Rory is 25 now.
The bet terms are worded as 'by the age of 25'
Depending on which crookmaker the bet is with, they might try and void it based on the wording.
