John Rhodes the Skybet compiler just tweeted...

At 16 Mcilroy shot a course record 61 at Royal Portrush. I think whoever quoted 500-1 for him to win the Open, isnt in a job at this time!!!

At the age of 15, Rory McIlroy was a member of the Junior Ryder Cup side, At 16 he was youngest winner of WI Champs and Irish Close Champs.

It's hardly the same as a guy betting that his new-born kid plays for England at football and cricket and getting a little certificate.

Spurs rumoured to have agreed a deal with Swansea of:

Ben Davies and Michel Vorm -> Gylfi Sigurddsen and £15m.

Seems like a bizarre bit of business.

Swansea believed to have brought in Flappianski. What's their price on going down?

Can anyone with a clean 365 account put a £50 bet on for me?  PM if you have a account that isn't restricted.  This is highly unlikely to cause any restrictions on your account.  I can instant bank transfer.

Goddamn it, I was hoping Davies would go to a good team (ahem!) for Fantasy Football reasons. Do that deal value Davies at ~£20m?
Tal, you're playing Fantasy Football this year, I take it?

Could be paper talk.

I just had a look on oddschecker at the Schneiderlin club after the summer market (he doesn't appear to be following spurs on Twitter btw!). These are the prices available on him joining spurs before the end of the transfer window:

TheRoryMacLife: 11/4
SkypeBet: 6/5
BMU: 1/3

Can anyone explain that to me?

As for the fantasy football, if I did play, I wouldn't have time to post on Fred.

I should probably start a staking thread...

Just a bit of info for anyone who is unfortunate enough to make a mistake with bet365 this worked here for me.   Not saying it will all the time, but had I note had the inclination to continue with my complaint there is every chance I could have been mugged off.

Evangeline E has joined this chat.
You are now chatting with Evangeline
E.Evangeline E Hello, welcome to bet365 live chat. How may I help you? Please include your four-digit security number if you want to talk about something specific to your account.
Agnes ****
Agnes Hi would I be able to cancel the last bet I placed Leg 11 first 3 dart score. I miscounted what leg we were on
Evangeline E Hello Agnes. Do you have the bet reference please?
Agnes XR3008541110F (previous leg finishes)
Evangeline E One moment please. (3 or 4 minutes go by as they go to add break)
Evangeline E I'm sorry for the delay. I’ll be right with you.
Evangeline E Is this 101 or more Leg 11?
Agnes yes, but event has not taken place I do hope I am not penalised for the slow response time.
Evangeline E The bet has been settled on your account, please note that our rules state "It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure details of their bets are correct. Once bets have been placed and their acceptance confirmed they may not be cancelled or changed by the customer".Agnes yes but I contactted you before the event took placeAgnes I appreciate it is my mistake but as a gesture of goodwill and the fact you were delayed in responding to me i would hope this bet is voided.Evangeline E I do understand this was the case however I need to advise you of our Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure bets are placed correctly. I am unable to void the bet as a the bet has since been settled, however as a gesture of goodwill I can offer you £20 no restrictions bonus for the inconvenience caused.
Evangeline E We are still awaiting your response; let me know if you need any help.
Agnes Not exactly fair, you had time to void the bet.
Agnes I will take the £20 without prejudice.
Evangeline E The bet was settled when I located this on your account, therefore I was asking to check. It is not in our policy to void bets as I have advised you of our rules, as a gesture of goodwill I was willing to offer you £20 for half the stake.Evangeline E I have credited this to your account Agnes.
Agnes As I said you had time, but I will take the £20 without Prejudice and I will take up my issue with Denise Coates (CEO). I thank you for your level of customer service.
Evangeline E As advised I have provided you with our Terms and Conditions in regards to voiding bets on your account, however as a full resolution I can remove the £20 and offer the full £40 with the understanding that bets will stand on your account in future.
Evangeline E We are still awaiting your response; let me know if you need any help.
Evangeline E We have not heard from you. Do you wish to continue the chat?
Evangeline E Please note, this chat will be automatically ended since we have not heard from you. (seething hard at this point e-mailing Denise Coates - I still sent the e-mail added an addendum stating I thought this was even poorer from Angeline as I would have been out of pocket had I taken first offer)
Agnes Please arrange to have the £40 returned to my account on the understanding that future bets will stand.
Evangeline E I will do this for you now, one moment please

Yes can do now.  It's not a fancy in the slightest. I have been backing and laying a lot of golfers in the open all week and I have a big green position on Adam Scott for the open and want to turn him into red on the off chance he does win so i save a 3 figure commission bill.  200/1 at 365 160/1 to lay.

For anyone else out there in similar position corals 28/1 garcia is similar and 125/1 dubiss both can be laid shorter if you want to nick a few quid risk free and/or have big green on them and want to avoid a potential commission bill on betfair.

Harry Kane lone striker for spurs, starting shortly.

17/2 FGS with Pad E. Parr

Sigurdssen pulled from starting line up at the last minute, replaced by Tom Carroll.

So you make scott winning on betfair neutral by laying back your profit and if he wins you scoop more via 365?
