Tikay did it off thread, not that he is aware of this. Insert aftertiming smiley.
Stupendous.
Soccer Saturday should be fun.

Rob Wright is head and shoulders above the other newspaper tipsters (it's not even close) and I can't believe he's able to get on.
Maybe Clare genuinely believes what he's saying. I've dealt with him directly a few times, backing myself to win the R.Post's naps table, and he was fine. Usually let me have a hundo or two at 25-1 or 33-1.
He's been there long enough to know the truth though you'd hope. My first job was at Coral head office in the late 80 s and they're nothing like they were back then. Absolutely the worst of the lot now, discounting those Irish clowns that we don't mention obv.
Also, gtfo Fulham, gogo Deeney!
Yeah, he was saying ppl can't get on...
Didn't think I would find it, but someone had uploaded part of the episode to the tube.
It's Clare moaning on for most of it, but the getting on bit starts at 7:45, and then goes on to him moaning about FOBT tax

sigh, didn't see your post, sorry
still, at least we are on the same lines
Think blyth will be massively up for this for more then the normal reasons of derby and cup game. They also have a lot of former pool players, rejected youth players who will be out to prove a point. If Mcguire and wade start I think they will cause pools shaky defence all kinds of problems and they might not fancy it. There are the class difference and the fact the match is a shop window for players wanting off a sinking ship. Think blyths support will be pretty large and of course hartlepools, used to being very competitve when they find themselves in league 2 just wont fancy it.
Like you said hartlepool are favourites but spartans win way more then 11/2- 6/1 suggest. If blyth were at home Id make it evens with blyth slight favourites. Would have expected 3/1ish here
Blyth are rumoured to have 1500 fans there (probably outnumber home support lol)
Excellent work, thank you!

Anyone read that double-pager in the R.Post today about bookmakers and how they will/won't lay bets?
Absolute comedy some of the quotes.
One of the Irish green rofflers sayed something like "if we want to lay £100k on a horse, we'd rather have 100 regular punters having £1k each than randoms".
Simon Éclair of Coral sayed "Over 99% of our customers are able to get a decent bet on."
Prob misquotes but that was the gist.
We touched on this in a convo on here earlier in the year and think a point raised then is what most of the people in the firms miss. As a punter you only have to upset one person on one market and your account is done for life. These days that includes getting 5/2 about things that end up 7/4 etc, they don't even have to win. If Nick Goff thinks its got ridic(which it clearly has) then he should suggest that someone at his firm gets the job of going thru all restricted accounts and re evaluating the restrictions. I am and I think he would be embarrassed at some of the codes on some accounts. All firms would be ashamed at some of the codings.
I used the example of a German soccer game I traded with another guy that had some big team news and coz neither of us could speak German we had no idea what was going on. He went thru all the punters that bet the winning team and restricted all of them, to this day a load of German punters cannot get a proper bet with Hills because one Monday night in 2005 they had a bet on a live football match and it won and someone got the face on. Can this ever be a sensible long term approach?
As for Simon Clare, don't think there can be a more embarrassing man in the industry now, got no credibility left at all imo.

St Johnstone away to St Mirren tomorrow looks a reasonable bet. St Johnstone are slowly getting players back from injury James McFadden has 2 in his last 2 and seems to be getting himself upto match fitness after a slow start. From what I have heard and seen St Mirren are an absolute sham. I backed them pre-season for relegation as the manager for me is one of the worse, I have never liked him going back to his days as a number 2 at Celtic. In addition to that they are without probably their most experienced defender as he serves final game of a ban. They are a team lacking confidence and a number of first team regulars are out injured they have managed just 13 goals this season.
7/5 with Mountains seems big and is defo out of line with other books. Worth £25.
I'd also throw a £10 at 27/10 with VC on to win to nil.

Would those moaning chaps at Bookmaking H
Q take some time out of their busy TV schedules to offer some prices for tomorrow's Strictly show, please, only I fancy having a bet or two? Any bookie will do...humour an ice cream, will you?

Tal and I have got a plan more cunning than Eso's Walsall bets.
In other news, wave goodbye to your 9/1 vouchers.
Fleur has copped this song for this week's show, and is back below 2/1.
Meanwhile Andrea gurns his way through O Holy Night and Wrecking Ball.

Guess it was Andrea that was 800 votes from the bottom 2, and Cowell is looking to get rid before the final.
Only explanation for being sabotaged like that

Perhaps Simon Clare should do it, and earn his money, instead of just being a snidey, smug prick!

Laddies have the line on Jeremy Hills rushing yards at 55.5.Would be pretty surprised if he didn't get the overs with about 15-20 carries.
