Aaah, assumed going (+1 hidden) was one of those things I just didn't know how to do, but most others probably did.

There's +2 hidden on here at the moment, and +5 hidden in Betting Tips and Sports Discussion overall.

Any thread regs do it? If so, how and why?

Tighty.

Anything for the Test series? Not seen any of the warm up but I can't have Trott or Bell for top bat. Any love for Root at 4-1?

Is it people with 'incognito' browsers?

Can't understand why anybody would feel the need to 'hide' Cheesy

Quite a few people choose to hide. don't want to be disturbed by pms, fallen out with someone are two frequent reasons given

for me/admins, no one is hidden.

I don't even know how someone becomes "hidden", but I suppose there must be a button somewhere.

Tighty.

Anything for the Test series? Not seen any of the warm up but I can't have Trott or Bell for top bat. Any love for Root at 4-1?

part of my write up this week was as follows

- Series Top England Batsman Joe Root 4/1 (William Hill) Taking the likely top 5: Cook, Trott, Ballance, Bell, Root we see a betting market that has three or four co-favourites around the 4-1 mark and 8-1 bar these five. With Cook and Ballance’s form having to be taken on trust and Trott back in the team for the first time in eighteen months (though an impressive top scorer on the Lions tour in the new year) I narrowed this down to Bell and Root and just sided with Root

- Series Top England bowler James Anderson 5/2 (William Hill) Anderson needs 4 wickets to overtake Botham as England’s all time leading wicket-taker and should achieve that in this game. With Broad in no wicket taking form for months, it being far from certain that either Rashid or Tredwell will play all three tests and the back up seamers possibly in line for rotation through the series too, Anderson is a worthy favourite here.

i also did a big state of the nation piece on the england national team which i won't link because of possible grumbles, but i can send if you want to see it

Always like to read your musings on cricket so yes please.

As we are both keen on Root I am happy to put him up for £20 for a month sweat.

In the Manchester Derby, we have just seen the world record, and medical history made, for the fastest recovery from a head injury ever.

Utterly com.

Goal fest at Old Trafford.

Pelligrini won't be sleeping easily tonight, he must know his number is up.

Bit sad in a way, he seems quite a nice chap.

Just me who thinks he'll stay then?

If Ancelotti isn't available, why keep six players on 150k a week that don't care and are just young enough for one more big contract elsewhere?

City aren't a medium to long term team. They are happy to buy 26 year olds for three years. So, let Pellegrini - one of the best managers in Europe, barring a handful - build his own team, rather than the one he inherited from Mancini.

I would not be surprised if they sack him, obviously, but they really might not.
