We missed a trick really.
Should have had the entire roll on Tottenham at 11/10 and traded out of it Blatch style.
Yes, but you do know that, what with my age and all, it is not unknown for me to fall asleep at the most unlikely and inconvenient of moments?

Tonight is game 3 in the NBA match up Miami heat v New York Knicks... Miami have crushed NY in the 2 games in Miami and now the series turns to New York.
New York are already without Jeremy 'Linsanity ' Lin, classy rookie shumpert went down with a torn ACL i believe in game one and now one of their other big players Stoudemire decided to gash his hand on a fire door as he slapped it in frustration after the game 2 loss..this just leaves NY with Anthony & Chandler of their big players fit.
Even with a monstrous home crowd led by the eponymous Spike Lee in the front row NY are going to be right against it as the red hot heat blow into town. the heat may or may not have Chris Bosh one of their big 3 as he wife has just given birth but he could still make tip off... the Heat still have league MVP lebronde James and Wade backed up by some good bench players.
The two met in New York as recent as the 15th April with the game very much meaning something..Miami ran out 8 point winners.
All this makes the money line of Miami -5 on bet 365 seem generous as the first two games went 100-67 & 104-94 Heat favour.
Unless i'm missing something ( Mr Jaffacake confirm or deny please ) money line looks good or a nitty 1.61 for -3 even better

Our cricket bet is going along nicely, finely balanced at present.
LV County Championship - Division One
Middlesex: Yet to bat
Worcestershire: Yet to bat

There's play in the IPL so I guess there are some advantages of bish, bash cricket.
Bad news: Mumbai aren't going too well.

Not a bet for me, but I back mostly losers whenever I tip anything on here so go for it (three-bokking). Would just add that Carmelo comes into his own when Stoudamire is out, as he has been for most of the past 20 games, and that Lin and Shump probs wouldn't start anyway, defo not both of them anyway. Will be a great game, Knicks have to win, no way they'll come back from 3-0....gl if you're betting it, I'll be tuning in

Barney under 97.5 avg £100 17/20 Boyles
Wade over 98.5 avg £80 evens Boyles
The double is obviously better value than both singles if anyone wants to be with and doesnt wanna bet singles. Will leave double out to reduce variance on here tho

Thanks Dave.
Am due to go offline shortly, so was rather hoping you'd Post early, and this is perfect timing.
The Thread bet will be 2 singles, for the reason you suggest, but no doubt it will not just be the players who go the doubles route.

As you sought Jeff's view, (as our other Basketball Corry) & you disagree, think I'll swerve that one tonight, which, on past form, means you are nailed on to win. Hope so, anyway.
Are there other ways of betting basketball, other angles so to speak? Most prices seem to be very cramped, & so we pretty much need 2 out of every 3 to win to break even. Of course, I'm personally averse to Doubles & the like, & I know that hampers our options.
I'm not anti you, Basketball, or any of that, I just want to see if there is a better way. The sample size means it is irrelevant almost, & I've missed several winners (& losers), but if we think logically, we must look at our results & want to find ways to improve the things that have not worked so well for us.
Maybe - just floating ideas here - less bets, but bet bigger, just the genuine standouts?

As alluded to before with Basket Ball the margins are very fine.. so finding stand out bets at good prices almost impossible...which is why I do a lot of double trebles etc..done a little checking last night as I watched San Antonio completely destroy Utah... there a pretty safe 1.4 ish in the race to 20 points...but you will hard pushed to find a worthy bet above evens..although I had the last two Orlando v Pacers game as obv unders total points..just seemed the compilers were off the mark there which is rare... im on for my standard bet and took a risk at the money line.. but any team can beat any other..just think there is a lot of frustration in the Knicks camp and the crowd could be on their back early if things dont go well..

Not to worry, and you don't have to get involved. Camel has already discounted one the selections, Bubbly Phoenix, maybe somebody else can suggest something as an alternative?
