It pains me to post it but - Ian Poulter is going to win a tournament soon. He's playing about as well as he ever has.

He's GIR leader and putting well. He has some pedigree at the Players from when he was previously playing well.

80/1 is knocking about and that looks like a great price to me, i'm putting him in the bracket of players around 40/1.

I'm rating him for top englishman to at 10/1+, i can put a line through some of the other english players fairly easily.

£10 e/w and £20 win?

Bugger, I my have misread you there, perhaps you meant £10 EW "outright", & £20 "Top Englishman", sorry.

Oh well, too late now, so I've added £10 for Poulter "Top Englishman" @ 10/1 with Ladbrokes.

If I have misread it, I'll remove the incorret bet from the Thread fund & take it myself. Last of the big Spenders, me.

it was but no bother, lets go for the mega spondoolics.

I do like Westwood for this tournament but i don't like the price (although i think its a fair price), the tournament is a brute and can rob someone of a chance to win over just a couple of poorly played holes so i tend towards a bigger price rather than put bigger bets on shorter prices - if that makes sense.

Trying to think of the last 'shorter price' player to win this tournament?

Thanks Tom.

"Like".

I rather like Ian, as he struts around with his chest out, he has that touch of arrogance about him, but not misplaced. I'm actually a bit of a Poulter fanboy, & know all sorts of weird stats about him.

Anyway, I gather he's hot with the GIR, he'll be fun to follow, & I'm rather hoping we can have one or two TPC Banzais. We gotta preserve our 'roll with our life, but have some fun bets too, & if we could bink one of these, we'd be in easy street.

I'm half hoping someone will tip Westwood, too, he's Mr Reliable of late, & I like his demeanour, but he's probably a bit short @ 12/1 & 14/1 generally.

We have £10 EW Poulter (SIX places paid) with BetVictor, & £20 win Poulter with BetVictor, both @ 80/1.

Interesting Golf tweet from the legendary dartsmith John Lowe earlier today; @jloweprodart Lewis to win tomorrow? Inside information: Yes.

Lewis is even money to beat Whitlock I think with most bookies. What do we think about this? Is darts like Serie A where they decide the scores before hand?

Curly Come Home, 8.25 Yarmouth tomorrow

Bet365 go 13/2. I made it 7/2. Nottingham effort boosted this afternoon and it's a bad race. Few newspaper tips for it too.

Worth a possible back to lay at 13/2 but don't take shorter.

Yes, makes perfect sense.

As to the incorrect bet, I am happpy to remove it from the Thread Fund & hold it myself, but if it stays, it gets booked to you. Wink

You decide......

Thanks Trevor.

Was grand to share Tables @ DTD on Saturday, I much enjoyed the "FlightRadar24" & commodoties trading chat, as well as the Barnet "lay" help. I recouped 25% of my £500 Entry Fee just by sitting next to you! Fortunately, not via your chips.

Norrrr, lots more than this please. Go for another £80 at 13/2 if you can get it. We'll trade back at a shorter price tomorrow for a freebie is the plan.

The very thought shocks me to the core.

You link to this blog in your signature......

http://la-boca-de-la-cueva.blogspot.co.uk/

Who writes that? First time I have seen it - wonderful stuff!

I shall now waste half an evening filling my head with that wonderful nonsense.

Why don\t kit designers sod off?  These things aren't fashion gah damn you.  It's tradition.  Anyone who wears a football shirt out on a Saturday night is not going to have a job and he will almost certainly live with his mother.

Did you see those people in the audience at the World snooker wearing replica footie shirts? Good grief, I could barely believe my eyes.
