Spurs have bought our Ref, but we've bought West Brom's goalkeeper. Smiley

If say 16s is about the right price absent any individual motivational factors, how much motivation are you going to need to get to get to about 10s (before it's even small value!) It's an awful bet imo and nowhere near 'huge' - the reasoning for it just seems like talking yourself into a bet rather than the other way around.

Adnmdv, every time you post you remind me of these guys:

You sit on the sidelines until someone makes a crap selection and then deride them for doing so!

I can deride 90% of the selections in this thread instead if you'd like. Stood out that one as some awful reasoning + justification (initially tipping up 9/1 as well)

It's not what you say, it's the way that you say it.

99.9% of punters aren't as shrewd as you.

Perhaps you could try teaching us, rather than taking the piss out of us.

Yeah, tips or GTFO.

Quiet afternoon, I assume?

Just back, seemed like I missed the fun & games, but a quick check reveals that the Norwich bet eased home nicely, (well done Jim & Jeff, shame Jeff never urged "Maximum"), but the bits & pieces all went south, so we will probably find that we have done a little bit back today when we run the numbers.

How did the Dubai "overs" suggestion go? There seemed like a good few goals.

I also missed Vince's "tryscorer" bet. Those rarely go wrong, well done him, hope a few of you availed yourselves.

We still have the Zaratoga (?) bet tonight, too, we could use a win there really to help us hold yesterday's made up ground.

Poulter tees off in 5 minutes time. A better start than his Day Two may yet prolong the sweat.

Bit annoyed with myself over those bits & bobs bets today, I was rushing to get out, & I think they derserved a bit more reflection really. Never mind, live & learn.

The "bad" price I took on Ben Arfa, noted by Dubai & others.

Is there another price comparision site you use, other than Oddschacker? I always refer to Oddscecker, & did on this occasion, though as noted yesterday, they are always wrong as to Betfair.

I can't imagine you look individually at every Online Bookie, so as to check Oddschecker, so I don't know how you easily find better prices.

The bet, of course, was horrible, but the "value" side is important.

As to Patrick, "sorry" (as you stated) is not needed, but thank you,  just remember, a lot of folks follow bets on here "blind", so we need to be careful with "homers" & myopic stuff.

There endeth the Premier League for us, & we'll miss the fun, & the profit - it remains our most profitable medium, & now it has gone. Apply within for suitable replacements until resumption.

Good shout on the Norwich result bookiebasher

Yup, his first tip for us, too.

Welll done Mr Moult. Can't think why we used to call him "Lucky Jim".
