The IPL group stages have one match left for all the teams (except chennai who have finished).
The equation for Mumbai to qualify is simple. Win their last match against Rajasthan Royals who are already out and they go through. That match is tomorrow.

Alternatively if the Kings X1 lost to Delhi (possible) in a match starting in half an hour, or Royal Challengers lost to Deccan ( very unlikely) then Mumbai qualify anyway.

It would also be nice to see KKR lose to Pune later today as that would give Mumbai a chance of 2nd spot but again that is unlikely.
All as clear as mud!

Mumbai currently 4/1 to win the tournament.

Nicolas Colsaerts, the greatest golfer from Genk  (otherwise known as 3G), has just completed a 4&3 win over Justin Rose to progress to the 1/4 finals. Speaking after his win he said that a boyhood visit to the battlefields of Waterloo gave him his inspiration for today's victory. Looking ahead to the 1/4 final he said that he "feared no-one. Except maybe Retief Goosen as he beat him yesterday. Oh and also that American chap who lost his clubs but got them back halfway through his first match- he seems like a really lucky ******. But apart from them no-one." When informed that he was going to have to play the said American he replied  "oh ****."

After three quarters The Hawks lead 90-50.

Full time

Hawks 119 Dockers 63

Is 119 minus 63 more than 30.5?

Thats 2 weeks in a row I've given teams who have thrown in shockers , time to step back and re-assess.

NBA

San Antonio go to La for game 3 and once again the over points look good. This is a must win on home court for the clippers and they are going to play hard with the crowd cheering them on so hopefully no surrendering 3 minutes from time.

money line is currently set at 190.5.. which is odd as yesterday it was at the dreaded 194.. taking season averages etc the line should be 192.5 but the stats still make this good even in LA

San Antonio last 12 away games 9 have been 192 +..the reg season fixture here was 103 -100

Spurs average away score for the season is 101.6 and clippers home is 99.1..... most of the previous between these two point to a 200 game but with the clippers stars carrying a few niggles play off play harder id shave that in a little but not as much as suggested.

After Thursdays tears at the 1 point margin id suggest a nitty over 188.5 a@ 1.74

#determinedtopullnbacolumnround

oh and the race to 20 points is 1.58 for the spurs..they are 14 of their last 16 in this column.  had a max bet at 1.4 thursday same tonight..

tip off is 8.30pm our time so earlier get in quick before these drift in

Word reaches me - unconfirmed - Genk's greatest is 3 up  after 8 holes v Scary Snedeker.
