Why do you no longer bet with skybet Tony, has your account been restricted/closed?
I was up in the Office a few weeks ago, & I was chatting with the guy who runs the thing, & so it seemed a good moment to explain that I was betting a bit these days, & from time to time I had bet with them.
He felt that, possibly, even though I am not a Direct Employee, it might not be well-viewed by some, so I just said "well in that case I won't". Just seemed right, it's not a big problem, & I dont want to be embarrassing either them or myself for a fraction of a point on the odd bet once or twice a month.
Really, it was a bit daft of me not to realise that in the first place.
How disappointing, I was so hoping all of those shrewd bets had seen your account closed.
I can but wish!
The only Account I've had "restricted" is Bet365. It is, in effect, closed,
they only allow me about £4 a time. They may just as well close it
.
I get the same with your employer
Sky are the nut low for laying anything after an account has 3 winning bets. Surprised b365 don't lay you, always been decent for me/ people i know.

Yeh Miami can be out tomoro night/Fri morning, but it they win that, they play the decider at home on Sat and will be faves to make the Finals so the sweat starts again, we'd need them to lose in the Finals. Currently 4.6 second faves to win still.
I like a bet tonight which I think fits one of Lord Channing's criteria....Russell Westbrook to have more than 6.5 assists at 10/11. Westbrook average a little under 6 assists for the season and playoffs, but he has defo changed his game in this series and is looking to pass the ball more, which has worked so he will keep it up.
Westbrook is a point guard (the position where his job should be to pass the ball and set others up, esp as they have Durrant, the three-times scoring champ on side) but in reality it isn't his natural game and he is pretty similar to Durrant and is a scorer first. However, as this series progressed (they went 2-0 down, now 3-2 up), he's obv been instructed to look for his own shot and points second and try and get others involved, not just Durrant but the OKC bigs too. His assist numbers have gone up accordingly, he's had 8, 9, 5 and 12 in the past 4 games, and I think beating 6.5 three out of four times/four out of five is about where he's at having watched his play the past few games.
He averages nearly 24 a game but the past four games he's scored 27, 10, 7, 23, which I think reinforces the thinking that he's looking to pass first, at least in this series, as it seems to be the best way of beating the Spurs (remember they've won the last three games with him playing like this). Recommend a medium bet, unless others dislike the theory

Thanks Jeff.
Are anyone OTHER than SkyBet (or Pinnacle) trading that market?

I had a good bimble on this Jeff, & the more I muse, the more I like, so I'd better put it on before I go silly & bet the Max.
Prices as of now are SkyBet 11/10 over 6.5. (so effective 7)
BetVictor 21/20 over 6.5 (effective 7)
Stan James 4/5 over 5.5 (effective 6).
I've gone the Nit Route - opposite to my poker style, obv - & gone with Stan James, for £100.
Russell Westbrook, 6 assists or more, £100 @ 4/5, StanJames.
Can we turn the NBA tide? Remember, we missed Sicilian's coup 2 nights ago. Time to funk for the
dunks
assists.

Would like to offer my first tip to you for this quiet day Tikay Sir. You won't know me I doubt, sat 2 to your left on your first table in the last £500 deepstack with a back hoody, young kid (not that its really relevant but whatever
) My pick is Thunder -4.5 v Spurs (pinnacle will offer best juice @ 1.943 I would imagine. Pretty confident Thunder can seal the deal tonight at home with their rampant crowd that make it hell for any away team especially in a closer game in western confrence finals.
One Word, DURANT. He just keeps turning it up exactly when he needs to with some clutch shooting in 4th Q's when they need it most. Also the last 2 games especially the thunder defence has been alot better.
The only reason the game was even close in San Antonio is because of Ginobli who went off for 34pts (making alot of ridiculous shots rather than bad defence) but Parker was kept v quiet imo and if they can do that again tonight they can cruise to victory by 7-10.
Sefolosha and Ibaka have been simply immense the last 2 games both on offense and defence.
Momentum is so huge in basketball and it is all with the Thunder. They burst the 20 game Spurs win streak bubble and now have all the momentum with their best 6 players all playing very very well.
I also think seeing the Miami loss last night will make them even hungrier to get to the finals tonight.
So im pummeling Thunder -4.5 tonight. Hope you like this pick and gl if you take it!

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Listen, we just have to keep doing the right things. I think the bet was well-researched, well argued, & made a lot of sense. I even went down a point, sacrificing a bit of price, to lock it up & give us a bit of a boost.
Just one of them things.
Like the time Grandma farted in Church, we shalll not discuss the matter further.

Good morning.
I can honestly say I never saw this Post, though no idea how I missed it. It was very early yesterday morning, which is when I construct my daily "to-do" lists, & I would deffo have acknowledged it, & thanked you for the Post. Would probably have backed it, too. Such is betting when we are not running so hot, eh?
I think I remember you from that £500 deepie, yes. I bought - or offered - to buy the whole table a drink, hoping it might get me a few "walks" in the BB. One kid politely declined the drink, & pillaged my BB. Him, I respect.
Quite an enjoyable table, except for the gentleman to my immediate right, who commented on EVERY hand along the lines of "I never win a flip", "I never get lucky", "I am the unluckiest bloke in poker". He was the chap who got his 40,000 stack in (200-400) with Q-9 on the 9-3-3 fllop v my Aces, & turned the 9. Then said (having called my pre-flop 3 bet) "oh no, I'm really sorry mate".
Anyway, sorry I missed your Post, & stick around please, we seem to be in need of someone who understands the very basics of NBA punting......
