Wiggo himself aint so special but an englishman winning the tour is huge. Farah is the only other contender really.
So what price would you have Jess?
Fair play to Wiggsy for probably tid but this is an olympic year and the olympics are so much bigger than anything else going on.

Bets I didn't place:
1. Lee Westwood was best price 14/1 when I checked the odds so I didn't bet
2. tikay couldn't make his mind up about Ben Curtis so I didn't bet on him either
3. There may have been other red hot tips that I missed, apologies.

I think that if it is a tie of 7 people then you would get a 1/7th of your stake but at the full odds.

You can have Wiggins, I'll have any Olympic gold medalist.
Anyone else wins, bet void.
£100?
Good try.
If Farah wins double gold he'll win, he's got a little celebration and everything.

That was me being a bit cocky after a couple of pints, i think Farah will win if he gets double gold.
If the Tour was showing highlights on proper terrestrial TV it would be a dead cert imo.

The other thing against Wiggins is just how boring the tour has been this year; sky have absolutely dominated the general classification and everyone else has put up little fight.
Compare that to, say, Mo Farah, who will likely have a dramatic finish in at least one of his events.
It's counterintuitive that the guy who only just wins should be regarded as a greater sports personality than the guy who marmalises all before him, but this is the British public. We'll even vote for Andy Murray because we love a valiant trier/crier.

Got 12's Wiggins spoty couple of weeks before tour, surprised he's so short now though with the Olympics to come.

70-1 at lunch in the cricket
two key points
the pitch is very dry/slightly under-prepared due to weather, it will spin. Despite some overcast conditions there is little help for the quicks, the pitch is too slow
After one session the pitch has footmarks, rough
Come England's turn, Swann is the key. He should be favourite to take the most wickets for England this match
He's not

I am assuming this market covers both S African innings?
The point here is that Anderson and Broad are priced below Swann on the basis they'll get wickets up front with the new ball. Against Smith, Peterson, Amla and Kallis I am not sure that is valid.
I like Swann here at 3-1, on the proviso that the 4th innings is part of the market quoted above

Love that analysis, and recommend, Rich, thank you.
Am not currently responsible for Fred, but I have had a £100 on my own account with Boyle.

Best bowler markets only cover the first innings.

Bugger.
A case of premature speculation, I'd say. Probably an age thing.
England might bat for 4 days and then let Swann weave his magic.
The draw result was as high as 2.8 on Betfair pre-match at one point. It's been as low as 2.0 already.

If one's selection is co-leader at the end of tonight
Say -1, and one of 7
Does the winning price pay out at 1/7th the odds?
Not quite. It is 1/7th the stake at the full odds.

Just can't see the draw, the pitch will deteriorate.

I've greened out!
Note: Fred didn't have a bet on this.
