Well, what a disaster the QPR tip was, but it was never should have been a 5-0 result, but we get back on the horse again and look for some value.

I had a browse through Tuesday's football and didn't see anything that stood out at me, but having had another glance, seen something that takes my eye later today. This is Doncaster @ 5/6 v Bury. I know Fred is trying to avoid the early football betting, but at that price, I would be keen considering.

I don't think there is that much to go on, but Doncaster are one of the favourites to go up and Bury are the hot favourites to go down and of course home advantage surely must help. Doncaster played away to Walsall at the weekend and thrashed them 3-0 and Bury got a 0-0 draw at home to Brentford. Looked through other bets similar to this and seems a good price, considering Wolves are 8/13 at home to Barnsley.

Smashing start to the analysis of a 5/6 shot.

Forget the QPR bet Aaron, it does not matter. Once we do the bet, thats it, we support it, or say nowt, & we don't do aftertiming or dissing. We were not forced to accept the tip.

Doncaster - Bury. Agree with everything you say, but from my limited knowledge, the price looks about right, but we are looking for mispriced opportunities, or extra "value". I would need convincing that "value" exists there.

Let me try & demonstrate what I mean, though the prices I willl use are hypothetical, because I struggle to calculate "value".

There are a lot of very knowledgeable football punters & watchers on here. (That excludes me, obv). If Doncaster were 6/4, they would all agree with you - because that reps value. At 4/6, they would disagreee - because that is NOT value.

In a way, it is nothing to do with "Donny will win", it's more about getting a price that reps value.
