Cycling closer to home. The Tour of Britain starts on Sunday 9th to the 16th.
Sky team has Wiggins & Cavendish, both shortish priced & no value as both are really using the tour as a training run for the Worlds the following week.
Value bet is Jonathan Tiernen-Locke. Riding for Endura Racing they have just returned from high altitude training & are the only strong team to have ambitions for overall General Classifications. He has had a strong season with three tour wins. Currently 2nd on UCI European tour rankings.
I have had a tenner at 14/1 with Hills, its now 10/1 but still value.
Live & highlights coverage on ITV4.

One for Saturday, not a price to get excited about but probably a smidgeon of value all the same.
Northampton are 4/5 to beat Wimbledon at home. Wimbledon's endeavours in the league so far have been a 6-2 defeat and Burton and a 5-1 defeat at Bradford. They are conceding goals at a frightening rate.
I expect Northampton to be pushing for a playoff berth this season and Boothroyd has put together a squad which lacks depth but has a strong first XI.
The will be keen to get the league season back on track - after a promising start they conceded a late equaliser to draw 3-3 with Southend before losing to Plymouth 3-2 away last time out. The last outing was an impressive win against MK Dons in the JPT but I am not sure what side MKD put out so might be misleading. Wimbledon lost to Southend in the same competition in midweek.
All in all, I think Northampton should win this and 4/5 seems a fair investment given Wimbledon's horrific defence this year on the road. There is a Wombles fan on this thread, so he'll be able to add his views as well as to whether this is a decent price on the home team.
Dung
Unfortunately I cannot argue with this, and the price seems pretty good to me.

5/6 with Skybet. I would assume that price might even be bigger elsewhere, just too busy to check at the moment.

All this chat about the Ryder Cup has got me all nostalgic for whenever it was played in the UK it was at the Belfry and the greatest ever match play hole.
By the way, there are no odds yet available for the rugby league being played tomorrow yet alone 4 days hence. How can we effectively operate with such constraints? Bring back " Quick Fingers " Mere.
Played it 3 times and been in that bunker off my drive everytime. Friggin magnet for my ball.

Hi Tony,
I suggest having £66 at 10/11 with Laddies on Benjarvis Green Ellis to have over 50.5 rushing yards for Cincy in their game with Baltimore in this weeks NFL. Baltimore have a tough run D but BGE will benefit from his back up Bernard Scott being out with injury and should get a big % of the carries for Cincy, I would expect him to have around 20+ carries with Scott out.
The number looks short to me and one other firm have it pitched at 65.5 which looks to be nearer the right number. The danger would be Balti taking a good lead which would mean Cincy have to play from behind and pass more but given the number looks light I think we have to bet it.
cheers

Afternoon. Jeez, the allotment has been hard work today.
There was no Daily Report today due uo AWOL-ness, really I should be AWOL-ness-less.
However, there was no bets or movement yesterday, so everything is as you were before we were where we are.
I'm still a bit time-strapped, but I'll sort today's new Bets now.

found what i believe is a decent bet tonight
BELGIUM TO HAVE MOST CORNERS vs WALES tonight 10-11 with blue square
belgium averaged 7.5 corners per qualifying game last campaign, wales averaged 4.2
It is not hard to make the argument that belgium have probably improved again since then and wales have regressed.
You could argue why not just back belgium to win at a similar price but they still havent won the games they should have yet and i feel the corners bet offers more value.
suggest £40
Thanks horsey, & thanks for the e-Mail to last night's Show, which we read out. You must be sad to be watching me.......
I like this.
I have missed the maket on this, best price now 5/6, so in line with Fred Rules, I've reduced the stake to £30.
£30, Belgium Most Corners, 5/6, Blue Square.
