For years the Ospreys had the mercurial Shane Williams and Tommy Bowe on either wing, both of whom were prolific finishers. These days Shane is having a swansong in Japan and Tommy has moved back to Ulster. Now prowling the right wing for the Ospreys is one Hanno Dirksen.
The Ospreys have always played expansive Rugby and even when down to 14 men out in Treviso they could easily have won. Ulster was a missed opportunity when leading 13-3 they managed to let the opposition back into the game but could have still won. Our man Dirkson opened the scoring in that match.
Last season Dirksen also opened the scoring against tonight's opponents, Glasgow. I wouldn't say he is a prolific scorer but now out of the shadow of two of the finest wingers in World Rugby I do expect him to grow in stature. He is 9/1 with Paddy Power and Boylesports to be first try scorer tonight, as low as 7/1 with some firms. I feel it's worth a tenner of Freds money at these prices. I'm on for a bit more Wink

Tiernen-Locke won todays stage in the cycling.

Out of interest how come Wiggins isnt really bothering with the GC?    Is he just riding this tour as a procession with the odd stage helping some other riders in the team?

It was only a wave to the crowd participation for wiggo really, not a serious race.

Tiernen-Locke is likely to ride UCI World Championships Road Race, possibly as a 2nd option leader. Some betting been going on, available at 66/1 down to 12/1 !!! (not a recommendation yet!)

This and a couple of other reasons.

He hasn't raced since the Olympics and has been living it up, so is not anywhere near top shape. Also even in shape he stood little chance of winning as any break he made would surely be covered.

As Tonji just mentioned it is the World championships next week and this tour is a warm up for a lot of the riders.

Really fancy Johnny Dash, trap 2,  in 10.24 at romford tonight. Drawn really well and with a level break think will lead, can't see how anyone would want to lay 5/2 about it given it's a certainty to clear red to the bend. Advise £60@5/2 with Hills, honestly think it will return 6/4 and that's about right.

Have you went through the Romford card Dubai?

Only had a brief look myself, fancy Fivestar Bessy in the 10:11, it's my biggest bet, on at 9/2. Got an opinion on that one?

Also like T2 in the 8:02 and T3 in the 10:40. Will likely back something in everything since I'm watching on RPGTV.

Well that sweat lasted all of two minutes before Dirksens opposite number scored. Hope you all saved a tenner.

Thanks Dave.

I have been unavoidably asleep all afternoon, so missed the price on this, it is now 9/4, but still value presumably. I reduced the £60 to £50 as I missed a bit of price.

We have £50 @ 9/4 with Totesport, Johnny's Dash, 10.26 Romford

Fed saved a tenner by sleeping. I make far less mistakes when sleeping.

Unlucky Bud.

Charlton v Crystal palace Corners

Charlton home games 8-6 6-4 & scored 7 twice away. Ave 7 per game.

Palace away games 9-3 7-2 & scored 2 & 4 at home. ave 2.75 per game.

Charlton -2 is 21/20 @bet365 (odds on elsewhere)

Sandy

Thanks Sandy.

I cannot do business with Bet365, they restricted me, presumably because they see me as mega-shrewd. Ice cream? Not me.

Update on St Johnstone v Celtic

Lomas isn't naming the Players that are out and if any will make it or not, their was rumours that the match may be cancelled but that was denied today by St Johnstone.
St Johnstone are struggling with form aswell as injuries, having only scored 2 in their last 5, not scored in 4 of their last 5 Home games and without a win in the last 12 in the SPL.

Celtic in the other hand have took their Eye off the SPL to concentrate on qualifing for the Champions League and Lennon said today that the defence of their title starts tomorrow.Captain Scott Brown has been confirmed as a starter and  new signing Miku who scored a lot of goals in La Liga will get at least 30 minutes if not a start.
I'm pretty sure they will play as strong a side as possible to get them familar for Benfica on Wednesday as their has been 3 new signings and nearly a 2 week break for internationals.
In my opinion if Wanyama plays for more than 70 minutes then that should be enough to get the handicap home.

The 13/10 is gone and some have even went odds on.

How's your Keefy bonus?

Seem to have a few Shef Wed fans on here, they seem to be set up to attack this season, scoring and conceding at will, fair assumption? Brighton got goals all over them, I fancy a banzai 2-2 or maybe 3-2 to the hosts. Seagulls would never beat Owls in a proper fight tho. A lot worse ways to spend an ayrton than a 2-2 at 14's, if u shop around u might be able to get 12's

Mr K!

I've missed you.

I'll have a gander at that.
