Kohli out for 50.  Solid enough start I suppose in the golden bat race.

Agreed.

How many sixes do the Afghanistan chaps need?

Chelsea are drifting all morning, now 6/4

Juventus are tipped in various places to win their group, so are popular/well supported/priced up

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league/champions-league/chelsea-v-juventus

At what point does the thread get interested in popping onto Chelsea tonight?

I noticed they were drifting on betfair last night.  Chelsea have been good to me too, so am probably going to push my luck on this.

Now available at 8/5.   Villains obv need to be respected, but think it must be value now.

Wow, wait till he is in form, then.

Looking back, with hindsight, it looks so easy!

India hit 4 sixes (one off the last ball and one where the fielder should have caught it but instead pushed it over the boundary).

I am happy with 4 Indian 6's as this was a fixture that I thought could go very wrong for our Australia bet, especially as India batted first.

this is setting me up for a massive fall

there is a bet available tonight which is 4-7 with William hill (most booking points valencia)

Bayern Munich v CF Valencia Bookings Points Match Bet Betting Odds

Reasoning

since the manager has been there in games played at home in the champions league bayern have "lost" the bookings market in 23 games from 27 (2 drawn 2 won)

Valencia have "won" the bookings match bet in all 4 la liga game this season (quite heavily)

what should the price be ? i would suggest about 2-7

what should the bank bet? i will leave that upto you Smiley

Can't really resist, seem too big. Unfortunately, the 8/5 has now gone, (the Market over-reacted?) but we've hsd £40 @ 6/4, with Stan James, Chelsea to beat Juventus tonight.

Thanks Doobs. You generally do us proud with Chelsea Bets. Wink

Australia in green, Ireland in blue?

Is the colour on anyone's coverage of the cricket playing up?

Random pub quiz fact - the official/national colour of Ireland is actually blue.

How on earth do you find bets like that?!

I much dislike long odds-on, but that looks irresistible.

Thanks.

We have £70 @ 4/7 with Wm Hill, Valencia to have most booking points tonight v Bayern.

Celtic @ 11/4 has to be a bet tonight for me in the Champions League, they probably don't have the same quality in their team as they have had over recent years but given their home record in the Champions League its a blind bet.

I believe Benfica lost a few big players this summer, albeit they have probably replaced them with some very good Brazilians.

I very much hope you are right - we are already on this, at 31/10, thanks to Teacake, but we only had £20 on.

Maybe we should invest a little more, though.

Thoughts, anyone?

I couldn't put you off.  I have been away on holiday for the past 7 days and only been skimming the thread so never saw this had been posted before.

If your considering going back in, it may pay to take a less risky approach and lay Benfica @ 2.28

Back into this thread.

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Huddersfield @ EVS.

Sheffield Wednesday have won both games at home and on our travels we haven't been that far away, even though we got hammered at Brighton on Friday. We are creating plenty of chances and only one game have we not scored, even though we had a few chances. I'd say we are likely to score here and with lack of strikers at Huddersfield, it might be a possibility that we don't need to score that many tonight.

Also, we seem to be doing amazingly well at home and Huddersfield haven't won away yet. I also think we have a full team to pick from, not 100% sure about Huddersfield.

I think we just have a better team than Huddersfield, but with home advantage will be a massive advantage for us. We also picked up 4 points of them last season.
