I am involved with a team in Kettering's league, Southern Premier
remind me to give you the low down when I have time
Some good boardroom stuff going on
They may not complete the season, and certainly haven't got 11 outfield pros at the mo
(
tikay, our old friend Imran Ladak
)
Lol, yes, bless him.
Last time I saw him he was running with Mo "Billy" Muse, & crushing the cash games at DTD, & on Sky Poker. They have both been abroad somewhere of late, but I gather they are back in town now, & I spoke to Mo only a day or two ago.
Pair of dark horses those two,
fo sho
Can someone fill me in on this Ladak fella?
I just saw his photo online and I definitely know him from somewhere.
But at my advanced age putting faces to names to events gets a bit tricky.

Self made man, owns a medical supplies company
Bought Kettering, appointed Gazza etc which is when he first came to real public view, and has been a real rollercoaster since including trying to get this man to help provide finance for Kettering, or sell to him, which proved extremely controversial

Some interesting odds flying around for to score a hat trick for England v San Marino on Friday. I know there are doubts about who will play, and if they will play the whole match? Especially with Poland away on Tuesday.
Rooneys price ranges from 6/4 to 7/1, it looks as though Stan James have just used a chart to generate their price. But I dont think these charts work for matches invloving San Marino.
Would be interested to hear the thoughts of others?

But at my advanced age putting faces to names to events gets a bit tricky.
You may know him from back in the day, Keith, he used to turn up in the Aviation in Paris, The MasterClassics in Amsterdam, & generally around the circuit.
More recently, he polls up at DTD from time to time, plays the big cash game there, & generates a fair bit of action.
He has been absent for a while, or I've not seen him, but I gather he was overseas, with Mo Muse, I know not where. Mo is back in town, so I sort of assume Imran is, too.
He's personable & friendly, or he was towards me.
Made a nice few bob from his business, I am given to understand.

Lol no, that was not my intention. By that yardstick, I'd be a great player, as I'm a nit, & don't generate action. In fact I'm as good as MANTIS, as one wise wag once said.
I simply meant he is super-laggy.

TJ Cloutier once said if he'd played one session with a guy 20 years previously he'd remember exactly what his style/tells were.
I can't remember how Julian Thew or Surinder Sunar play!
Definitely played against this Ladak fella once or twice, can't for th life of me remember how he plays though.

Maloney is in to 4/1 second favourite for elimination with Hills apparently. That looks too short now though.
